I saw them on this tour. My first ever concert! February 1977 at Madison Square Garden. I don't have pictures, but I DO remember the incredible show. God that was a loud one. Queen was just unbelieveable. I was less familiar with Thin Lizzy. I was only 14. "The Boys Are Back in Town" was a recent radio hit at the time and "Somebody to Love" was getting there. I still have the tour book (small, silver book), and the t-shirt (glitter).
it was so funny tho cos alot of my friends aren't really into that kind of music and so they just sat thinking "who's the hell is that" and then there was just me in the middle of them just amazed by the fact that he was there. then at the end of assembly he was stood in the door way where we all had to go out. which made my day. (kind of sad really lol) i was very happy but none of my friends understood why...
