Some of you may be wondering why, after much debate about sharing Queen Production Bootlegs, I shared Queen Down Under Preassure. Well our friend SirGH suggested to me that I E-mail Richard Orchard for his thoughts on sharing the bootleg, so I did, and basically Richard's reply was, The Bootleg releases by QP are all about stopping bootleggers and he had no problem with me sharing it. So there you have it. We are all free to share the BOOTLEG concerts that were released by Queen Production. However, this doesn't mean we can start ripping official DVDs such as Live At Wembley and share it with everyone. Your thoughts are appreciated but you can't be sharing true Official releases here at Queenzone. If you feel compelled to do so, do it privately outside of QZ and advertise it elsewhere
but not here at Queenzone.
I think this is the right choice. Official is official, but a boot is a boot. Since the hundred chosen ones are not available in the shops, they remain bootlegs. Let QP prove in court that it isn´t a real good coverband playing :-)

The only dead givaway to a good cover band would be the vocalist. No one sounds like Freddie.

I wonder what the Dr. Brian May and Mr. Roger Taylor said about this.
I wonder if they did know about this, why they agreed.
Well, Brian thought that it was a good idea!
Being he a very smart person, i wonder ....
But i would like to know what he thinks of releasing the live material from the master tapes, AS SOME BANDS ARE DOING ON THE INTERNET.
To me, this is a "little rip off" to fans, because they can sell the same concert twice (Bootlegs first, master tapes second)!
It was disapointing to have Brian supporting this idea. Do you think that if we send him a letter he would do something about it? ( a kind of letter like we did thanking Paul Rodgers, signed by the Queenzoners and stating that we are not buying that crap).
Take care
