I totally agree! Also because of a man formerly known as Ziggy Stardust and because it was a tribute to Freddie, whereas ROTC is just showing that Queen are alive and well, and hopefully comming down under because we got enough signatures :)
thats what i say, only if i have nothing else to do will i watch any new DVDs, i have gone through all of the TC special features. the TC itself wasnt that great i just dont like ROTC
Most of the performances on the Tribute DVD suck balls anyway, the real merit of the Tribute Concert is the stuff they left off!
Actually though, my favourite bit of the whole tribute is when they start playing Tie Your Mother Down, and it's just Brian Roger and John rocking out. (plus backing, but you get the idea). That's the way it should be on this latest tour, but don't get me wrong I'm happy with Paul Rodgers.
ROTC, I feel there's more of a point to it because they pick a singer and stick with 'em. I really only liked one or two of the singers in the Tribute show (Roger Daltrey was GREAT) and so for me the rest is crap.
I dunno. I prefer Earls Court.
Tribute concert by far, but only the full, unofficial version with every song, live and undubbed. The DVD release was a waste of time. ROTC just sends me to sleep.
