There is a fairly conclusive article on Wikipedia (nothing anybody here wouldn't know, I'd like to think, but it's a good article all the same). One of the better band articles, though it's nowhere nearly up to scratch with the like of the Stones, The Beatles etc. in terms of the length or depth of the article/feature.
Check out the article, sign up to Wiki if you're not a member and help improve it...Some nice quotes are something I want to look for. Anyway, Queen deserves a kickass feature on Wiki; these days Wikipedia (a free encyclopedia if you dont know) is fast becoming the most popular reference site on the internet (rated No. 2 on Alexa.com) so Queen should get an awesome article! link
At the same, Wikipedia represents a great opportunity to link various articles and facts together that might be hard to find. Check out the Freddie page to see a pretty good example of this: link
By the way, this is the first site you come to when you Google
Lol. Well yes there are one or two such loopholes in the Wiki system, I don't actually know what goes on with regards to moderation of such silliness, though I must say I've uesd Wikipedia extensively for everything from band bio's to ancient history, and not once have I ever come across something stupid/prankish. Indeed there has been the odd article that has not been very well written (it's easy to pick up poor style on a few articles).
Anyway, that aside, I really like the concept of Wikipedia and support what it stands for (not to the degree that I'm a socialist lol, but in this case I support the idea). Read that "personal appeal" of the Wikipedia founder, gives you a little insight into the vision.
Did you notice th epicture on the Wikopedia biography, entitled Queen in 1990. It is a monochrome one used in the GH3 booklet and features Fred in a jacket and bow tie. That can't have been taken in 1990 surely- looks about 1988 to me. Any ideas?

It's a collage picture, first of all. Freddie's from 1987, John's from 1991, etc. This picture was used as a cover for Let Me Live single in 1996.
