Good people of Queenzone, I need your help.
Studio 24 is a venue here in Edinburgh and they hold a club for under 18s and one for over 18s, The Mission.
The Mission caters for alternative music and is one place where goths (and very occasionally some cool chavs) gather to listen to their own music, meet new people and hang out with others who have the same tastes in music.
Upstairs they play techno and have concerts (Nirvana played in 1991) and downstairs there are (sometimes) live bands and they play metal and rock (they play Queen as well !!).
This is the only reason me and my friends manage to survive the week at our chav-ridden school. But now.. Cutting to the chase.. (time to mooch, haha) I need ya'll to visit : link and sign the petition to save our social lives and our club because, thanks to some neighbours who live nearby complaining, Studio 24 may not be able to renew their license, meaning they'll have to shut down or move The Mission. On Monday they'll find out if the license will be renewed or not but we need all the help we can get, so pppleeeassee sign !!! I thank you all... xD
ok just some advice IF you sign the petition:
If you are not from Edinburgh I dont think signing with your hometown in Germany/England/Holland etc etc will do much good
I just signed the petition with my "translated" name ...Stefan being Steven ... and living in Edinburgh .... (which is not true but the petition is about a local issue , so the more "local" people will sign and say that they are from Edinburgh , will do much more good in my opinion!
Stefan (aka TRS Romania aka Steven LOL!)
The point of a petition is not so every Tom, Dick, and Harry can go around signing it. You have to have an interest in it - it has to concern you in some way. Otherwise, it's worthless, manipulative, and deceptive.

Or it's to help someone you like who DOES have an interest in it.
I'll sign in a sec, Tina.
SERVER MAINTENANCE PAGE
This is a temporary page that is installed on our Ultra range of web servers and there are a number of reasons why you see it.
1. The server is being maintained or being upgraded. Just sit back and relax, we are already working on solving the problem. If the problem is our fault we profusely apologise for the inconvenience it has caused you. In case of an upgrade we do try our best to schedule these events in the middle of the night and over weekends to maximise uptime and we only maintain them during business hours in case of an emergency.
2. Your domain could have been mis-configured and you might want to use our QuickFix function to restore default settings.
Yours sincerely

Come on !!!! There is the very occasional girl/guy who like burberry and adore 50 Cent but are still cool towards goths ! (By cool I mean they don't throw bottles at you or stone you (I speak from expirience))

Thus, my point stands. I suppose that is the reason most petitions bear the worth of a nickel strapped to a penny.
