I've been posting on Queenzone for almost a year, but have yet to determine what everyone is referring to by "Urk". Is it a facetious reference to a live show in Urkmenistan?
Urk is a municipality and a town in the Flevoland province in the central Netherlands.
Urk is first mentioned in the 10th century, when it was still an island in the Zuider Zee. In 1939, a dike from the mainland to Urk ended the town's island status. Later in the 20th century, surrounding areas were reclaimed from the sea and became the Noordoostpolder.
Still a fisherman's town, Urk's inhabitants are known as being very religious
From Wikipedia...
Took me 37 1/2 seconds.
I dunno I'd rather see one of the rare recordings from the NOTW Japan Tour...

Simmer down, tiger. I never said I couldn't find Urk online. I just don't know what it has to do with Queen. On queenconcerts.com it goes from Uniondale to Utrecht.

Urk is Queen's favourite secret venue!
If they organise secret concerts (or secret tours) they most of the times go to Urk.
The most popular Urk gig is the Urk '83 trilogy
They gave a smashing performance on those days. The 18.04.83 gig is completely filmed the other two dates (19.04.83 & 20.04.83) are partly filmed.
There are gigantic mysteries about these recordings. Sertain people say these gig's where never played (could be jealousy or that they own any form of a recording).

How about Live in Urk 2006?
That concert rocked. I have it on 7 DVDs. They played almost everything previously never before played live suck as Dead on Time, Headlong, etc.
