Compared to Hullubaloo... this is rubbish. It's the sort of rushed release you expect from Queen Productions.
It looks good, and has four extra songs as "bonus" features, but the whole DVD is in plain stereo.
There are still rumours of an Earl's Court DVD anyway.
Bit disappointing compared to Hullabaloo. I don't think the band had anything to do with the release. They recently signed to Warner Bros and i think this is their commercial move.
About the DVD: It's not bad, if you can live with just a PCM Stereo mix, the unoriginal cover and artwork and the lack of an extra disc and the absence of Stockholm Syndrome(Earls Court version is available as an extra, but they have edited the end...future release??) and Citizen Erased!!
Positive:
>Muse's Glastonbury performance is ACE, so every Muse fan should have this DVD period. And the sound and screen quality is excellent.
>2 Easter Eggs (Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist and Endlessly, nice actually) but this is not enough. I think a complete release of Earls Court is due to release, and i hope it will be with a lot of extras like Hullabaloo!!
>Small Print & Fury, excellent
>The Groove In The States: The unedited version of the extra track on the Butterflies & Hurricanes DVD-single! xD
as I can't find anything related to Muse in Romania, I'll have to wait until I get out of the country to buy/comment on new stuff...
I'll get back on this in about 2-3 months...
