Hi Queenies!
I bet you hear this all the time, but where or how can I get hold of a similar jacket to the one made famous by Fred?
PS: To confirm, it is the yellow one!
Thanks for any response

steps
1. go to fabric warehouse
2. ask for 10 yards of yellow leather
3. find a pattern for a leather jacket
4. buy whatever you need
5. make it yourself

I have one :P
If you go to a costume hire shop that does a freddie outfit and ask them if either they make the costumes themselves or they buy them from some where, if they buy them from some where im sure they'll be more than obliged to orderone for you if you cover all the costs (postage etc)
and if they make the costumes themselves ask them if you can buy the one they have or if they'll make one for you if you pay tehm for it. that's what i did and now i have one.
It never hurts to ask ;)

Before this all gets out of hand.....
I know that an original of the stage costume was auctioned in Sothebys a couple of years ago. My memory is a little hayzee....but I think it went for around £22,000
Where I work there is a costume shop - the Freddie outfit is ALWAYS out on hire at Halloween, trying, as I have been for three successive years to hire it....
