Hi, That filthy Trancer (link is selling Queen Live at St. Paul.. I really hate it he's using queenzone.com for downloading the free files.. and trying to make profit of it.. What's your opinion about it? By the way.. I've recorder 30 years Bohemian Rapsody yesterday. It was broadcasted by Veronica, a Dutch TV Channel.. It's really full of concert pieces.. including really good and clear bits of movie from Houston 77, Hyde Park 76 and London 77!! Brian and Rodger are also playing some songs from the album, including Seaside Rendezvous! I need to cut it a little, before it's right to share it here.. but what program can I use? |
Erin 16.12.2005 08:26 |
I think it's awful, but I am not surprised to see it on there in the least. |

See, if and I say IF that's what Trancer's been up, then that's pretty despicable. Any wonder the whole "to share or not to share" argument arises..... |

how is it that his website is still up and running? I mean, he's selling bootlegs for pete's sake! Why hasnt he been shut down?? |

As awful as it may be, I'm glad he is selling them online for the following reason: I am blind, and my screen reader on my computer does not let me use Bittorrent Client. Good enough reason? |

Maybe, but I don't know... |
Thanks 21.01.2006 11:14 |
I would. Surely we can find trancer's IP, then use our torrent programs to ban it as & when we spot it? Initially that will slow him down...long term it'll kill his supply. |
Smitty 21.01.2006 15:24 |
He has Japan 2005 also by the way. |

Good enough reason?I appologize for the above statement. I just got the two DVDs I ordered from Transers, and it is not exactly what I wanted. "Hyde Park" was fine until the end...it cut off right at the beginning of "In The Lap Of The Gods." I also ordered "Freddie's Loves & Millions" documentry, but I don't think that's what I got. All that was on the DVD was an interview from 1987. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have the interview, but that's not what I paid for. It really sucks to be blind...and I mean that literally and figuritively. |

Shoot me if you must, but sometimes this bit torrent thing is so frustrating, that I'd gladly pay someone for the file I was trying to get for free. Just the time saved could be worth it in certain instances. |

I find his site very interesting, and certainly he has some things that i would like to have. Now, if you pay for something and you get other item, then thats another story. Write him an E-Mail to see what he has to say. Personally i really don't care if he's making a profit for something that was shared here for free. I don't use the BitTorrent thing, and even rapiodshare only works for one month, so at least he puts everything togheter for the lazy ones like me. Really, if it wasn't bootlegers i wouldn't (and certainly, you too) have some rare live & studio recordings. Even Queen are selling bootlegs nowadays!!! I really don't care about their profits. If it is too expensive, then i don't buy it. Simple as that, but after that i have to get the trouble of trying to find the same item in other source, so... I'm not against bootlegers, i'm more against big companies that are ripping the fans of their money for things that are worthless! Take care |

I have bought his stuff from eBay. I normally don't condone pirated material, but I have so far been unable to download the free files successfully. Trancer makes it available to me on (thus far) good quality DVDs that are affordable. If not for his menchandise I would never be able to collect the older and rarer concert footage. |

The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody is on the same disc, as the programmes were broadcast one after the other. PM me your address if you're interested. |

Yeah... Trancer did it again!! Look at the news page.. ASSHOLE |
Gr8 King Rat 06.02.2006 12:50 |
Trancer is an ass. I remember I'd email him just to ask some questions about his website. He'd give me a one word answer but then ask me if I'd be interested in buying anything from his "Sheer Boot Attack" store. |

Yup.....and yet, we wouldn't have the collection we have if not for him and Joe Demilio and others. His 'very good' and 'excellent' ratings are comparitive-speaking terms. I've purchased things that were rated 'good', 'fair', and 'poor' by him. I knew that's what I was getting, and that's what I received. One should not expect to get an 'excellent' rated sound disk to live up to a Wembley '86 official, overdubbed release. But a soundboard 'excellent' will be better than an audience 'good' or 'very good'. Be grateful for what you can get. I've run into problems with bittorent and rapidshare. I'd rather spend a few bucks and get a nicely packaged, good sounding product, and not worry about screwing up my computer with the other contraptions. Who knows what little hidden things are in this stuff? Hopefully, I've removed any remaining cookies those 'freewares' hide. So what if he makes a buck or two. In a way, so do I, as I save money by burning the high quality stuff I purchase from him and giving them to friends as gifts. If Queen Productions didn't have its head up its head up its arse, and would make such a vast inventory available, he wouldn't still be in business. We're glad he still is. |

Jezus, he ain't harming anyone is he? If you don't like what he's doing, don't buy it! For people who ain't got a DVD burner it is an opportunity to get a DVD. And the person who buys it pays the price himself, and is wise enough to think wether he/she thinks it's worth it or not. And yes, I also thaught it was a little strange he was selling stuff (like Houston) that I and a view others gave freely to this site. But what the heg, I mean if he is making himself and other people happy with it, why not. |

I mean a CD would be more logical, wouldn't it? A wrong point Trancer sent you the wrong stuff! |

Plus, there's a very likely chance that the doctors will be able to restore some of my sight in the near-future. I've only been blind for the past four years. Just last night my friend and I watched/listened to "Earl's court 1977." I may not have been able to physically see it, but what I envisioned in my mind was absolutely magnificent. |

It's ridiculous. I have never bought anything from him. And it is pretty bad that he's selling something that just recently was avaliable for free at QZ. BUT... there are people who buy it... So... Post here a place people can buy some of those CDs or DVDs cheaper, without trading, without downloading... Well? At the end of the day- this thread does nothing more than advertise his site. there always were and always will be people willing to buy live recordings from him. If he's happy and they are happy... What's the big deal? Them being naive... Well- ignorance is bliss... |
