Okay, Im about to buy tickets, but cant decide on the Gold or Premium package. Are the seats for the Premium package good? I just hope that its not in the back..
My guess is that they are a ripp-off. I started a thread complaining that my $125 tickets for the Jacksonville show were a lot better than the $200 tickets. Did not seem fair that someone would pay top dollar and get worse seats. Today the show went on sale on Ticketmaster and the $125 and $200 tickets are better than the ones I purchased seconds after the pre-sale. Second row next to the stage, slightly to the right.
How would you feel sitting next to someone who paid $125 a seat when you paid $400-$500 ?
The whole thing is either a con or just really poorly organized. Perhaps the implication that if you pay more you get better seats just does not apply to concert tickets, but it should.

I agree with you, I've just realized that the Gold/Platinum packages are a huge rip off (Boy am i glad that the credit card didnt go though!) I'll be looking for cheaper tickets on Ticketmaster today, hopefully I'll find great seats =)
You can buy the jacket at the merch booth for $275. Nice leather and wool jacket. I got seats on the floor for $90 in San Jose, CA. I cancelled three times and kept trying. Went from section 115 to section 102 to Floor section 3. If you don't like what you get from Ticketmaster, cancel and try again. The $90 seats on the floor were cheaper than the $125 lower level seats. Figure that?

Wow. Obviously i have no idea what im doing when it comes to buying tickets. Thats amazing, floor seats for $90! I still havent found the tickets that im looking for, but im going to keep on trying. Thanks for the tip =)
Row AAA seats 2-8 probably mean you are front row right on the catwalk. Seats don't come much better than that. Except for the fact that the band will spend a lot of time out on the catwalk with their backs to you.
I can't justify spending that kind of money. Although I did buy the tour jacket in Hollywood for $250 and it is worth every penny.
The premium guarantees great seats. But most fans already have the dvd and other items they are including in the package.
I will wait until a week or so before the show when the unsold VIP tickets go back to Ticketbastard and get them for considerably less. Or I will go on Ebay and buy one of the hundreds of unsold tickets out there for a discount.
