Finally. And $282.00 lighter in the bank account, thank you very much. Thanks to Brian May, my wife is not getting me any gifts this year for Christmas!!! Fair trade, I think.... She will flip, though, when I buy Detroit tickets too!!! I haven't dropped that on her yet. |
PieterMC 02.12.2005 15:25 |
The Cleveland Presale sucked. Not nearly as good as the Chicago presale. There were not many VIP packages available either. |
The Stealer 02.12.2005 15:25 |
Good for You!!!Merry Christmas. Seats? I have 124 Row 6 Seats 15, 16 Whooo Hoo |

Erin 02.12.2005 15:28 |
I'm not satisfied with the seats that were, or should I say weren't, available at the highest price level here. We are going to wait. |
PieterMC 02.12.2005 15:28 |
I'll take my chances with Ticketmaster for this show. |
Robin 02.12.2005 15:30 |
I have 126 seats 3 and 4. |

124 Row 6 Seats 8-9 Pissed, as the seats on Brian's side are NOT on sale.... |

Row 6 is STILL for sale... I sat there prior to 3:00 for 20 minutes for nothing, I see.... |
Erin 02.12.2005 16:14 |
We just went ahead and bought the lower price level. Section 108, row 3, seats 1-2..which SHOULD be on the aisle closest to the stage. I'm rather pissed off at the moment..*sigh* |

How did you get it to sell on that side? I have been trying for an hour and a half, off and on, and it keeps giving me 124, or 126. I WANTED TICKETS ON BRIAN'S SIDE!!!! |
Lisser 02.12.2005 20:40 |
I'm waiting til the day before the damn show to get my tickets. |
Jjeroen 03.12.2005 05:22 |
Yeah, I indeed only got offers for tickets on the non-Brian-side as well... But I setteled for them anyway, cause I like the idea to see the show from the other angle for a change - It'll be my first time; at all my previous shows I was right up there with Brian ;-) |

I'm rather pissed off at the moment..*sigh*I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you're probably gonna be even more pissed off now. I just bought 2 tickets for Section 108 'cos my friend is not willing to pay $127 for a ticket so I told him if I could get good seats for the $79.50, I'd do it. Anyway, I got on Artist Arena a few minutes ago and got Section 108 - Row 2 - Seats 17 & 18, which are on the very end of the aisle. I called the box office at Quicken Loans Arena to ask if they were on the aisle nearest to the stage and she confirmed they were. So, it looks like yours and Pieter's Seats 1 & 2 tickets are on the back end of the arena rather than nearest to the stage. Just thought I'd give you a heads up in case you wanna put 'em on eBay or something. |
PieterMC 03.12.2005 16:54 |
I called the Arena aswell before I purchased them and asked the same and they say that seat 1 is nearest the stage. I spoke to two different people who said that. They said that if you were sitting in the center of the section that Seat 1 would be on the right nearest the stage. |
Shay 03.12.2005 17:04 |
I just saw your post and called back a minute ago and talked to someone different than I did earlier and she also said Seats 17 & 18 in Section 108 are closest to the stage???? Apparently, the personnel at the Quicken Loans Arena don't even know the correct numbering for the seating. This is fucked up. |
PieterMC 03.12.2005 19:17 |
All I know is that every concert I have been to the seating always starts with Seat 1 on the right and then moves to the left with the highest seat number on the left. I looked back through old ticket stubs tonight. Every venue that I have been has had their seats numbered that way. This is weird.......... |
Shay 03.12.2005 19:31 |
Yeah, that seems the standard at most venues. I did the same with my old concert tickets and every venue I've been to but two of them started with seat 1 on the right moving to the highest number to the left. That's why I called the box office at the arena to confirm it before I ordered my tickets 'cos the way Artist Arena's site shows it when you select your tickets is that it moves 1-18, which 1 being on the far left. All I know is if I've been misinformed by the arena, I'm gonna be majorly pissed 'cos the only reason I selected 17 & 18 was because I thought they were on the aisle nearest to the stage. |
PieterMC 03.12.2005 19:59 |
AA seating charts are a piece of crap. That is how the screw up with our seats in Jersey happened. T |
Shay 03.12.2005 20:38 |
Well, I checked some other venues on AA's site and it looks like they have some venues having seats with Seat 1 starting on the far left (e.g., Quicken Loans, MCI Center) and others with Seat 1 starting on the far right (e.g., Glendale Arena, Key Arena). I don't know if AA has fucked up the seating chart for the Quicken Loans Arena or what. I sent off an e-mail to the box office at Quicken Loans to try to get to the bottom of this. |
PieterMC 03.12.2005 22:20 |
AA seatings charts are all wrong. When we purchased VIP in NJ they had Seat #1 being next to the catwalk, when we got there it was at the other end of the row. This happened even after I called and asked AA where the seat was. I was told it was next to the catwalk, so AA have so no idea. I also e-mailed them. Interested to see if the response is the same. |
Erin 03.12.2005 23:26 |
Well, one thing is for certain, which ever one of us is wrong is gonna be an UNhappy camper..:-S I still don't understand why NONE of the higher level priced tickets were on the floor. There were SOME crap ones, but I ain't paying for a seat where I can't see..*sigh* |
The Stealer 03.12.2005 23:30 |
Agree AA seating charts are goofy- the ones for the Bradley Center on AA were incorrect. I called the Bradley Center to confirm That my seats 1,2 were near the catwalk and as others have stated as you sit in your section, seat 1 is on the right--Hoorah. Best advice--research your Venues before you buy---AA has some decent seats at most shows-- Brian side seem to be very rare. |
Shay 04.12.2005 00:03 |
Compliance Queen wrote: Best advice--research your Venues before you buy.Yeah, the baffling thing about mine and Pieter/Erin's situation is that the box office at the arena told us two different things. Jjeroen 04.12.2005 06:58 |
Hmmm... I don't think I'm too worried about the seatnumbers. I also expected them to start on the left, which was good for me, but is the start on the right, then I must be seated right AT the left side of the stage!?!? Cool! :-) |
PieterMC 04.12.2005 13:23 |
It's just messed up. Who knows......... #1 does usually start on the right of a section, but who knows, I am past worrying about it. |

PieterMC wrote: It's just messed up. I am past worrying about it.Same here. We can't do anything about it now anyway because of Artist Arena's strict "NO REFUNDS" policy....lol However, since the arena gave us different answers, I do think the arena should compensate us with something for our distress....maybe a voucher for free hot dawgs at the concession stand....lol |

So whos going to Cleveland? I will be there!! I am really pumped for this concert too! I have a sister out in Cleveland who grew up in the 70's as a Queen fan. She got me into them when I was just 13 waaaaay back in 1981. My sister was lucky enough to see the NOTW, Jazz & Game tours & even got backstage to meet the band! I saw them in 82 just weeks before my 14th birthday & that was it. Now her son, my nephew is into Queen big time. He is 13. Apparently Queen is very cool in his Jr. high school. And truely, neither me or my sister had anything to do w/ getting him into it. She kinda bailed on them after 82 & hardly listened anymore. I would have played them for him but he lives in Cleveland & I'm in Philadelphia. But when we found out about the tour & the dates were posted, Cleveland is the night before my nephew's 14th birthday. So all three of us are going. He is stoaked that his uncle will be there w/ him for his 1st concert ever. And being the proud uncle I am I can't wait to watch his eyes & expressions on his face when the lights explode & the music rings out. It will be a night to remember always! Damn I can't wait!!! |

Visit this website and look in the top right corner. Somebody needs to tell them that Freddie is dead and that John is not going to be there. link |
Jjeroen 05.12.2005 10:32 |
Nice pics! Did you also notice that this particular gig was also billed as 'Queen', and not as 'Queen plus/and Paul Rodgers'? I have to say, I would kinda like the idea if the tickets also just says 'queen'... :-) |
PieterMC 05.12.2005 10:36 |
I have come to the conclusion that the people in Cleveland are smoking crack. They can't give you an accurate description of where your seat is, and they use a picture of Queen with Freddie and John :-) |
