Do you think that, even though they've just announced about 40 gigs in the USA, they'll see fit to come up to Scotland and play up here? Especially considering they left it off last time.
The SECC could hold it, albeit in a sterile cavern, though Hampden in Aug/Sept are hosting loads of gigs (bon Jovi, Eagles, Robbie Williams etc) or Murrayfield in Edinburgh, could be perfect for an enormous stadium gig.
Here's hoping!!!

Well you can, but you'd just have to use an extra large cricket bat.
(I'm a Scot too, before you go getting any malicious thoughts against ol' Lester...)
i hope they do come to scotland. i was soo disappointed when they didnt come this year. now...if only i could talk all my "queen are alright" friends into going, then they'd see how gd they are....and thats without freddie......they'l suddenly be amazed how brilliant they are with freddie.

It's easy to beat the Scots. All you need is a football, rugby ball, or any other kind of ball for that matter.
I have sent the Brian May web site a few emails about not playing in Scotland, and the excuse I got was they couldn't play here due to Paul Rogers tour commitments in America, (which he must have cancelled?). To be honest, it's a disgrace that they missed out Scotland earlier this year.
Yes, absolutely a pity. Perhaps Scotland, Ireland and Wales could be rolled into one tour (say stadium or large exhibition hall in each country) as part of the QPR "Celtic" tour.

I still think they should play St Boswells. If not, they HAVE GOT to play a gig somewhere in Scotland and give me a free ticket.
Guys, if you are reading this, the village green is a good place to play. You know, right in front of my house...
Jesus. The entire England/Wales/Scotland island is what, the size of Texas? And the Scots couldn't get themselves down to, say, Sheffield to check out a gig? Has anyone told these complaining Scots that Queen hasn't played the States in 23 years ??
It's all relative, I guess, but when Scots complain about not being able to walk down the street to see Queen, as opposed to going on a 4-hour train ride, I can't help but think some Queen fans just don't know how hard we've had it over here in the States. I'll be flying to Buffalo and Worcester and Philly.
And, just as a point of information, it's a 1.5-hour flight from Glasgow to London -- last I checked, it costs as low as 250 USD for a midnight flight return/round-trip. And that's a last-minute British Airways -- not a cheapo airline.
My point is: Please excuse me if I think this Scotland complaining is a load of bollocks. I certainly won't feel sorry for you when I drive 6 hours to each of my Queen gigs.

I absolutely agree with this...
I want them to play 6 gigs in London next time, but... won't be really complaining when they won't...
And actually- from Glasgow to NEWCASTLE (if Sheffield was too far for some Scotts)- C'mon, that's really bloody close...
