Last week I just transfered and encoded an old video of mine called "Follies 1979" (original video source was recorded from French or Belgium TV ??? ...sorry, got the video in a trade over twenty years ago) to my PC that looks like the version of Brussels 1979 that Smitty torrented a couple of days ago... but mine is almost 30 minutes long.
The first ten minutes are interviews with road crew members and behind the stage footage...
The last parts include concert footage of Dreamers Ball and Spread Your Wings and more...
I encoded the video to mpeg-1 format but decided to change / encode the original mpeg-1
video file to WMV for upload purposes because...
a) I never ever made any torrents and I´m almost 43 years old! So I decided to upload
the video in a more conservative, let´s call it "good old-fashioned", way to Rapidshare... :-)
Three different files that cover the whole video of 30 minutes...
The files and download links are as follows:
- Queen - Follies1979 (Part1).wmv = 39MB apr. running time 10 minutes link
- Queen - Follies1979 (Part2).wmv = 43MB apr. running time 11 minutes link
- Queen - Follies1979 (Part3).wmv = 31MB apr. running time 8 minutes link
b) The original VIDEO QUALITY IS BAD, although the sound is quite alright...
so WMV-Format is more than ok for this 30 minute clip!
So anyway... enjoy and have fun !!!
PS: ...and next month I´ll be searching my archives for "Unbekanntes Lied 1971"... :-)))

This is rather rare footage of Brussels '79!
I'm very happy with this.
I hope you got more of these interesting tapes
:-P :-D ;-)

Rare? Not anymore.
Who cares if it's rare or not. It's nice to have anyway.
Thanks for sharing dude!
As I told you, Bohemian777 - it's gonna be a good business! ;) Don't forget to send in Russia 10% of your future earnings :-) (and don't forget about Unbekanntes Lied 1971!)
I missed this one as well.
To those who managed to download it... is there much more Brussels footage than the usual copies? The original poster mentioned footage of Dreamers Ball, and that isn't on the 20 minute version. Or are there parts from Paris, like someone suggested?
