I was going to see it tonight with a small group of friends, but then one them said she couldn't make it so we're going next week. :-/ But at least we won't be stuck in a big crowd. My history teacher said she watched it at midnight this morning! LOL |
Yuri 18.11.2005 21:19 |

Sunday morning, with the wife. Can't wait! |

I saw it midnight with my friend Rita and it was great. She said they omitted stuff from the book, so that irked her a bit. However, since I have not read the books, I quite liked it. Very engaging and exciting. Enjoy it when you guys get to see it! |

There are bits of the book omitted, but that's to be expected with such a large detailed novel. Truthfully you don't really miss it all that much. They hit most of the key points and focused more on the thriller aspect of the book without losing any of the relationships of the characters. This is the movie I have been waiting on. Visually it's stunning. The World Quidditch Cup scene is unbelievable, as are the Tri-Wizard Tournament scenes. Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort was great casting. Just wait until you see him. I'd love to go see this one again on the big screen. |

i saw the first showing of it at my local theatre oh. my. fucking. god. i LOVED it from a teenage girl's point of view, that much hotness in one movie should be considered porn, not a kid movie XD but away from that... the younger ones have really grown as actors and actresses since the first movie the end of the triwizard tournament... i nearly cried... i don't want to give any of it away for people who haven't even read the book but are going to see the movie it's just... amazing i want to see it a few times more before it hits dvd |

It's got David Tennant in it so it can't be that bad. I'm not going to go and see it just 'cos he's in it though. I'm not *that* bad... |
rachael mae. 21.11.2005 02:50 |
David Tennant was cool in it.. he wasn't in it much, but when he was it was soooo cool.. :-) |

He has the right to his opinion, but i've never seen a Harry Potter film, so there's not much point in me going to see this new one. |
Mr.Jingles 21.11.2005 08:28 |
The only thing that sucked about the Harry Potter movies was Chris Columbus. Thank God they got rid of him because he was an awful director. In terms of production the first two were decently done, but the acting was awful, and there was too much too much screen time for silly characters like Dolby and Nearly Headless Nick. A waste of time, IMO. Alfonso Cuaron and Mike Newell have done a hell of a job on the latest two installments. |
SergeantPepperDG 21.11.2005 08:28 |
Two words- Cedric Diggory. *droooooooooooooooooooooooooooool* I also found Barty Crouch, Jr. to be quite attractive. |
rachael mae. 21.11.2005 10:32 |
Krum wasn't bad either :P |
Haystacks Calhoun 21.11.2005 12:12 |
Great film!!! The first one is still my favorite, though. But, in terms of a great movie, with action, a few sparks of teenagers getting close to "that time", a few great villians, I would give this a strong 8.5 out of ten. Easily the second best of the movies, really very close to the first, just much darker. There are some parts that were cut that I though SHOULD have been left, but I can understand why they did what they did, as a movie can only be SO LONG....With all they did for the Quidditch world cup in the beginning, it is a shome that we didn't get to see some action. And, why PG13? My daughter is 6, and we didn't take her, figuring we would screen it ourselves. There was nothing that I saw that would have warranted that rating. If they had shown Hagrid getting it on with the Beuxbatons head mistress, then I could see it..... |

Being Christian, I can't say that I'm into Harry Potter! He represents what all Christians are against! If you see the movie then it's up to you. Harry Potter is the DEVIL. |
FriedChicken 23.11.2005 20:22 |
I think you really should get a life. |

I just came back from seeing it again...Goblet Of Fire is definitely the best one of the series! Barty Crouch Jr.'s tongue is insane. :) |
Mr.Jingles 24.11.2005 16:13 |
Hard for me to pick whether I liked 'Prisoner Of Azkaban' or 'The Goblet Of Fire' better, but both were superb movies. 'The Goblet Of Fire' was very dark, and also very melancholic at the end of the film after Cedric's death. I think that made the story more touching by bringing a sad ending, but yet something that really makes you look forward for the next chapter. Just like 'The Empire Strikes Back' did it in Star Wars. I remember my girlfriend and a couple of other girls sobbing after Cedric's death. I knew that if some cute guy was going to die, girls were going to be pulling out their Kleenex. |
Smitty 24.11.2005 20:17 |
I liked it but I felt it jumped around too much. My least favorite part of the movie was cutting out the QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT!!!!!! Ah, oh well, decent movie. |
