There's something weird we found about WINGS song (Mull Of...)- Jim Jenkins swears that he heard it in Liverpool in 1977 but... the song wasn't released yet by that time... Weird, isn't it? And if you put part of CHINESSE TORTURTE in 1986- surely, it was more evident during guitar Solo in 2005... |

No it's Greg who says it's Liverpool 77 . Jim is convinced it's 2nd night Liverpool 79. I used to hang out at the record fairs in Liverpool with him in the early 80's . Last time I spoke to him he was going to dig out his tape and check. Have to remind him. |

AT first: Thank you, nice work! And now sorry for going slightly off-topic: Does there exist a list of the MOST OFTEN PLAYED SONGS? I presume it contains KYA, Now I'm Here, BoRhap, GSTQ at top positions. Would be nice to know for sure, but I don't think, anybody was THAT bored. Bye, Nummer2 |

The March Of The Black Queen and Get Down Make Love were played far more than you suggest- GDML is on both Live Killers and AT the Bowl, and a section of MOTBQ is in a medley from Hammersmith '75 so while I cant, and wont try to be accurate and tell you exactly when and how long they were in the setlist I suggest you do a bit of checking on those! Just pointing that out for accuracy's sake, but great work otherwise! |

other notes: i heard that roger pulled out an improv section of "fun it" at a few shows during the 'jazz' tour. was "machines" ever performed in it's entirety? if memory serves it was the show tape intro morphing into Brian crunching ths song's chords then into 'Tie Your Mother Down' |

HI All, Just a couple more live Tracks/snippets that Queen have played, to add to the list. 176. Fun It (intro to Keep Yourself Alive, 1979, Freddie sung some lines from it) 177. Star Fleet (Brian played a section of this, between "One Vision" & "Tie your mother Down" on the Magic tour 1986) 178. Everybody's got to learn sometime (46664 Queen+ Zucchero) Does anyone know of any more? |

To The_Hero, Those tracks are not Queen Tracks, but the Idea that "Tatterdemalion" had was tracks that Queen had performed live. QUEEN + (from the Freddie Tribute) |

the_hero wrote: if you see Brian and Roger as Queen... you might as well add Rock 'n' Roll by Led zeppelin. Roger did it during his solo tour in 99 and Brian was being guest appearance.Only Adding tracks, that are from concerts that "BRIAN & ROGER" billed themselves as QUEEN & in the case of "The Freddie Mercury Tribute" "JOHN" aswell. I did not add tracks, i.e. when Brian guested with "The Cross" because it was not Queen. "Tatterdemalion" added tracks From the 2005 tour & if it's billed as QUEEN+ then it should be added to his list. Now one question here. A boot has surfaced of Queen in concert "pre-John deacon" when "Barry Mitchell" played Bass. Should those tracks be added, The-hero? or should we say, that every QUEEN concert after, that John Deacon played was not a true Queen concert, because "Barry" was the real bass player? "Is This the world we created" didn't have "Roger or John" playing on it. Yet It was included on the QUEEN album "The Works" should have this track been left off? You get my point!!! Freddie's dead, but his music & Queen lives on!!! |

What do other Queen fans Feel about QUEEN +, is it QUEEN or Not? |
bitesthedust 06.11.2005 12:38 |
I think personally the list should be all Queen songs played by Queen from 1970-1986. |
AlexRocks 06.11.2005 13:46 |
I second A Word In Your Ear! An intellectual thinker! How exciting! ...and yes Queen are Queen + duh. There are just negative people in this world that not only try to hold down but hold back some people and things and some cases try to make things as if they never were or will be. I am not one of those people. |
AlexRocks 06.11.2005 13:50 |
What I would like to know is how many of these songs were properly recorded either audio and or by film? Amazing and excellent post Tatterdemalion! I am impressed it has come from a young kid as yourself! It's far more than some other people do! How did you know all of this? |

the_hero wrote: He's a collector, anyway I can assure you that most of the named songs exsist in very good quality.. except the very early ones. (1970 till 1973) Jesus and the Night comes down seem to have never survived or were never recorded. same goes for if not all at least most of the stuff between 1970 till 1973But we have proof that those songs INDEED have been played :-). Owing to a memo, written by Freddie! A recording of Jesus exists, it's on the Marquee 1972 recording, but I'm afraid The Night Comes Down didn't survived it. :-( |
