Hi All
I was wondering why Queen have left off Australia from their Queen and Paul Rodgers tour. Queen have heaps of fans here and all their concerts would sell out - I am sure.
Does anyone here know why Queen traditionally over look touring Australia? Does anyone know if they may come to Australia on a later tour with Paul Rogers?
I hope Queen would consider coming to Australia and do a tour here.
From a small think tank at Queenzone with other Aussie Queen fans – we have decided to try and group together and write a joint letter to send to Bri at Soap Box to let Queen and Paul Rogers know that we desperately want them to tour Australia.

We would ask Bri, Rog and Paul to consider touring Australia. There are many great minds at work on these boards and great Queen Fans – if you are Australian can you help us get this off the ground please. So far we have:
1. We have called ourselves ‘Aussie Queens’
2. J\ and Isis are now co-ordinating this project
3. An email address for those who are interested in joining us on this project is now set up so please email us. It is aussiequeens@hotmail.com
4. We would like you to write a brief message to Bri, Roger and Paul as to why you want them to come to OZ and what part of Australia you are from. We will include your message with your email address with it at the bottom of the joint letter to them. This way they will see what each of us have to say.
5. If you know any other Aussie Queen fans that are not on these forum boards, but would be interested in joining us on this project please tell them the email address and just get them to write to us - we will look after them from there.
To those that are interested - THANK YOU SO MUCH - this should work as long as we have a good number of people supporting it - So please consider joining us - thank you.
For those not interested thanks for reading this anyway.

Hi All
We now have a website to make it easier for everyone - please go to link
For those that have already joined up with Aussie Queens - thank you very much. The numbers are growing every day and this is great to see.
We have opened the campaign up to all of Australia and New Zealand - this way Queen and Paul can decide where they want to go not be told where we think they should tour. So I guess that issue is now sorted out. In order to attract Queen and Paul to your city you will need to show numbers on this petition and show Queen and Paul where they are most wanted.
We need anyone’s help even if you are not from Australia or New Zealand you are also welcomed to join us and show support - we have had many do so already.
Thank you all very much for your help and interest - please pass the word around to other Queen fans even if they are not from Australia or New Zealand. If you can help us get our flyers up in the capital cities in New Zealand or Australia - can you please contact us and let us know.
Thanks all.
Isis
Thanks guys, you are doing a great job & I have passed this to all my Queen friends.
Let's put this at the top of the list again.......
C'mon down!!!!!
Thanks Karen for spreading the word! That is what we need everyone that reads this post to do for us even if they don't want to sign the petition.
I am going to Melbourne tomorrow to put up flyers around the city - if anyone wants to meet up with me and help out that would be great - I am also staying overnight to go and see QueenEssential as well whilst I am down there - if anyone is interested in hanging out with me to do all this you are welcomed - just email me at aussiequeens@hotmail.com I will get the message.
