Ok here's the story. I work at McDonalds, it was my fourth shift. I was told to take drive thru orders. It was my first time. I got there, served about 5 cars then some prick came up and robbed me. This was like 10mins into working the drivethru. He had a pistol in his pants (looked kind of fake but i didn't wanna risk it) and he showed me. I immediately gave him the money in the till and he ran off.
The weird thing is that it was a fresh till and he only took the notes, so he would've only got like, less than a hundred dollars. Is that really worth 17 years in prison?
I was quite shaken (as you would be) and i went straight to the manager who called the poice. A lot of people thought i was joking but when the cops came they knew i wasn't.
I'm still kinda scared because he said if i called the cops he'd kill me. I just hope that that was an idol threat. It's just my luck, first time on drivethru, 10mins into it and i get robbed. WTF! I'm only bloody 15! but i kept in high spirits and in no time at all i was my usual happy self, making jokes about the situation. Now thats a story to tell the kids :P
You see the thing is he was on foot. and he had a stocking over his head. just like the movies. and robberies aren't common. But yeah there are camera's, some right on the booth i was in so you can see him reach in. And one over the entrance so you can see him coming.
Don't worry about it. You're safe. He probably wouldn't even be able to identify you tomorrow if you met him and struck up a conversation with him.
Threats like that are meant to give him time to escape, so you might hesitate before calling the fuzz. And, hey, even if he could identify you, remember, he's a robber, not a murderer. I doubt he'd kill you, as after calling the cops, there's little more you can do to him.
He's not going to risk life in prison or worse for premeditated first degree murder to kill the person who told the cops he committed a potentially armed robbery, especially since in all likelyhood he already planned on you notifying the police anyway...
By the way, you did the right thing by following his orders, even if you were unsure he had a gun.

I love Panera. Except the menu confuses me. But still, I have the guarantee that no matter what I get off of it will be hardcore delicious.
