hello all,
Just a question. Is anyone headed down to the New Jersey show? Also, how are you getting there? flying or driving? How long of a drive is it? around 8 hours??
let me know
mike
That's because of the damn shoot outs. Even without our captin, the best ottawa could do in regulation time, you know the team that is supposed to win it all,the best you could do was tie us.
I've said it once and I'll say it till I die....
GO LEAFS GO!!!!
mike
Wow, good to see some Ottawa fans on here. I am a huge Sens fan and I think this is finally our year to take out the leafs in the playoffs (hopefully they will make it there). GO SENS GO.
I moved to Toronto 8 months ago from Ottawa and I love the city but not the leafs of course.
I am driving to the Jersey show, but I have to go through Ottawa to pick up my girlfriend so it will be a very long drive for me.
Btw, does anyone know if its possible to get through the US border without a passport or citizenship card these days? I seem to have misplaced mine and I am getting worried.

I would assume you can still get through with either a driver's licence (csp?) or a birth certificate, until the new passport regulations kick in (if they haven't already)
Hope you can get in okay...
With the nation in a panic over "national security" and all, i hope you can cross the border okay.
Good luck man...and see you in Jersey!
Thanks. I should be okay. I checked out the US customs site and it looks like passport isn't required yet, although they will probably give me a hard time without proof of citizenship.
Its going to be a great show, and I can 't wait to be there. See you all in Jersey.

Yeah. You might want to leave at least 30 minutes early, cos they could potentially take at least half an hour to question you before letting you cross the border.
I wouldn't know personally, because I have never travelled outside of Canada by myself ever, owing mostly to the fact that I have NOTHING I could use to travel with (not even a birth certificate or driver's license, or even a Certificate of Citizenship card!)
I've been trying to apply for my birth certificate from the province I was born in, and I've hit some snags due to certain personal circumstances, so I have to re-apply for it all over again. It's a fucking pain in the ass (no pun intended), I gotta tell ya.

A friend of mine went down a couple of months ago with a driv lic and birth certand had no problem. Make sure you have your birth cert.too. HAVE A GREAT TIME!
I'm going from Toronto area. I'm driving to Niagara Falls, and catching a bus from there to New York, where I'll be staying for the weekend, and then I'll take buses/cabs to and from the concert. I'm so excited!

I loved it. I was really impressed with Craig Pesco. He was great. I thought Brian could have been a little better. The sound of his guitar wasnt that great at times but maybe it was because I was sitting in the second row from the stage in front on the speakers.Overall though it was a great show.

You know what. I agree with you on Craig and 'Brian', on both accounts. Craig was and IS great as Freddie Mercury, but the guy playing Brian needs to improve his sound and playing technique.
