I was planning to have one on my upper back... just am hesitating if it would hurt!!! But than I am gave birth about nearly 4 years ago to my daughter without anastatics and they had to brake my coxis, for her to come around...
I thougth to the first every logo of Queen (QueenII booklet with some musicnotes going up my spine and in circle around it the logo (like a sun that shines)....

*squeals* I can almost feel it, reading your post...oh my god that sounds painful. Right, will be keeping legs crossed from now on lol.
I'm planning on getting either a crown on the back of my neck or a few lyrics from a song (I'm thinking Long Away right now...'For every star in heaven, there's a sad soul here today') around my wrist in the next few years.
What!? Gotta get them! What else would go with my high-heeled guitar-style boots and my groovy clothes? After all, I've found a nice little man who say he's gonna make me a real big star. Stars in my eyes, ants in my pants, think I should go far...
Before choosing any tattoo image and location on your body I would very carefully consider what it's going to look like when you're 75 years old.
This thought alone has prevented me from ever even considering a tattoo of any kind.

Some form of the crest, more than likely.. You gettin' one?
Well I never considered getting one until recently. Now I'm giving it some thought. But if I do, it has to be Freddie related :-)
JasmineXWarrior I know what you mean. But if it's small I think it won't look too bad even on an old person. After all, if I get to old age I will still be young inside, and still love Freddie and Queen!

i like the idea of some kind of crest nothing to tacky.. but i personal wouldn't get any faces of the band tattoo, possibly a small crest with some very fine writing underneath in script style.

Why do you care what your going to look like when your 75? Your going to look pretty haggard at 75 anyway, your not going to impress anyone at 75.
You only live once.
I just think it's something a lot of people don't consider when they decide to get that "sexy" tattoo across their cleavage. I tend to think of tattoos as a young sort of thing and I wouldn't feel very dignified showing my grandchildren an outdated tattoo I thought was "really cool" when I was 21.
Just my personal feeling on the matter.
I think tattoos are dumb anyway. just think when your a litle old person with a huge blob all over you. And why go through the pain of having one on purpose?

it's art, dear.
I don't understand why someone WOULDN'T want one..especially something like a portrait of freddie..
I can understand from the pain point of view, Needles make me faint and throw up, something Ill have to get over before I have my first tattoo.
Im gonna go for a a joker/jester on top of right arm, and vines wrapping around both of my lower arms.
