Okay, I'll probaby get flamed, but here's a tougher game I thought up. Going letter by letter in progression, list a Queen song, then counting how many letters that song title contains, list something significant regarding that number. Be as clever or as..."non-clever" as you like, lets just see how many turns we can get. All Dead, All Dead 14 letters - the song's writer, Brian Harold May, also contains 14 letters. |

People from Kansas were not expected to participate, sweden_man, it says "brainiac" right in the title. Go back to trying to fill up your ever-so-clever "let's do a thousand posts of nothing" thread. I chipped in more than my fair share to that one, genius. |

Save Me 6 letters - spent 6 weeks on charts |
kagezan1313 24.09.2005 18:35 |
Very good, sweden_man, I'm impressed! You should save that one for when we're on "S" though, it's supposed to be "B" next, then "C" and so on. Adds to the challenge. As for your threats, *yawn*, they make you sound less intelligent. Besides, I'm just a peace-lovin guy! Lemme get "B" while I'm here. Bohemian Rhapsody - 16 letters, the same number as the title of the album it was released on, A Night At The Opera. Anyone feel up to "C"? |
deleted user 24.09.2005 18:48 |
i didnt threaten you, or even insult you i just warned you of what would happen if you keep doing what your doing |
deleted user 24.09.2005 19:07 |
even though you failed to make that rule clear in the rules, ill continue: this is a bit of a stretch, but who cares?: Cool Cat 7 letters - it was released on the flip side of las palabras de amor on June 1st 1982...add the number of the month (6) to the number of the day in that month (1), and you get 7 |
deleted user 24.09.2005 19:35 |
oh, and just to give you a break: Dancer 6 letters - the composers middle name (harold) also has 6 letters Escape From The Swamp 18 letters - the composer's full name (roger meddows-taylor) also has 18 letters but since im from kansas, which for some reason automatically makes me a blithering idiot, i should stop right there but, before that, lets look at the score: sweden: 4 kagezan: 2 |
kagezan1313 24.09.2005 19:39 |
Wow! You are good. I, however, fail to see the difference between a threat and a warning of impending doom. And yes, you did insult me by calling me an idiot (see you initial post). Anyway, I understand your need to uphold the honor of your state and southern pride, so I retract my previous statements and offer sincere apologies. So let's put away the duelling pistols, eh? |
kagezan1313 24.09.2005 19:45 |
Fight From the Inside - 18 letters, same as your previous Roger Meddows-Tailor. I'll do an extra one since that's yours. Father to Son - 11 Letters, same number of original tracks as on it's album, Queen II. (you could take the II in Queen II as 11 if you liked too.) |
deleted user 24.09.2005 21:00 |
a HUGE stretch, but its the best i could do only 6 that start with g...Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy 24 letters - it was released on an EP with 3 other songs, it reached 17th on the charts, and spent 10 weeks on the charts...17+10-3=24 |
kagezan1313 25.09.2005 01:28 |
You want to see a huge stretch? Check this out: Hammer To Fall - 12 letters Hammer To Fall was the only song that appeared in the movie Highlander that hailed from a different album than A Kind Of Magic. The main character in Highlander was Connor McLeod - 12 letters. I'm smashed on Crown and Coke, I'm amazed I made it that far. Cheers! |

When Freddie and another man talked back and forth as much as you two have.... well...um, you know.... it was time to get out the trapeze bar and a can of axle grease. |

anyway I Want It All 10 letters - they credited it to queen, which has 5 letters, but the true composer was brian, which has 5 letters...5+5=10 |

As for the axle grease, I find it's too thick, doesn't allow much sensation - I prefer Astroglide for bedroom acrobatics. Hey, I wonder if Freddie used to call them Jim-nastics in Mr. Hutton's company. Jesus - 5 letters, same as the title of it's album, Queen. Freddie wrote this, even though he wasn't Christian, and he was born on Sept. 5th. |

Khashoggi's Ship 14 letters - the original name of the one who sings lead in this song (farrokh bulsara) also has 14 letters |
kagezan1313 25.09.2005 19:02 |
Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon - 24 letters, written by Freddie, who was 24 when Queen formed. |

Mustapha 8 letters - Jealousy was the only other single from Jazz that wasn't released in the UK...Jealousy also has 8 letters |

I appreciate you guys trying a new game, but it needs more set rules... this is too broad. Misfire has 7 letters.... the songs writer (Deacon) has 7 inches of cock. |
kagezan1313 26.09.2005 11:44 |
M's been done, love. Try N. As for Deacy, I'd believe it. How many kids? 5? 6? The rules are pretty clear. Associations, however loose, must be factual, so unless you've chugged John's sausage, I'd keep away from that kind of answer. |
kagezan1313 26.09.2005 13:31 |
This one's weak, but... Nevermore - 9 letters, it's writer Freddie was born in September, the 9th month. Bah! |
deleted user 27.09.2005 17:56 |
Ogre Battle, One Vision, One Year Of Love...I'm Screwed!!! I'll try to come up with another since this is an exact copy of one of your previous ones, but here you go: One Vision 9 letters - the original album had 9 songs on it |

Put Out The Fire - 13 letters A song about gun control! Many historians believe that the earliest firearms were invented in the 13th century. Fighting in the eastern countries during the Crusades, European christians came in contact with gunpowder, which was being used for demolition, firecrackers and other innocent purposes, and said to themselves "Hey! This could help us kill people!" And the rest is history. |

i just got an idea...since were apparently not allowed to make a thread just to go for 1000 posts, why dont we just try to get there on this thread...that way the moderators cant delete it, cause it has a purpose anyway, good one on p kagezan no queen songs start with q, so ill go to r this is kinda dumb, but what the hell: Ride The Wild Wind 15 letters - two people sang in this song, freddie mercury and roger taylor, add freddie's shortened name (fred) with 4 letters to rogers full name with 11 letters to get 15 letters |
kagezan1313 28.09.2005 15:14 |
Save Me - 6 letters spent 6 weeks on the charts That was surprisingly easy! Luck-o-the-draw I guess. Thanks sweden! |

sorry its been so long since i posted, ive had one ready for a while: Too Much Love Will Kill You 22 letters - two people assisted brian in the composition of this song, one of them was named elizabeth, and the other one's last name was musker...freddie sang lead in one version of this song: elizabeth + musker + freddie = 22 letters |
kagezan1313 03.10.2005 15:41 |
Under Pressure: 13 letters If we take the full initials of all composers of this song (FM / BHM / JRD / RMT / DB) we get 13. |
