While Freddie was a very attractive guy, I can't stand that damn statue/image of him from 1986 that is shown on the Freddie Tribute concert poster and the "We Will Rock You" musical poster. I just do not find that particular image all that attractive. In fact, I don't even think that the image resembles the Freddie that we know and love.
Well your just all about the complaints arent you, dear? Why dont you respect that they actually took the time to make the statue instead of bitching about it. I think i would rather have a shitty statue and have his memory perserved then to have no statue at all and have him being forgotten... If you havent seen the statue with your own eyes, then you cant complain. Cheers

Indeed, the statue isn't particulary great.
His face just looks so...fake.
It's a statue for christssake! most statues do not resemble the person they represent!
Be glad that they made a statue at all!
This way certainly Montreux won't forget Freddie. Maybe you should visit the city Montreux and experience the athmosphere before you post such critics?
my friends all saw the statue in that place that i cant spell while on a school trip.
My friend didnt realise who it was and stuck her head between his legs. Its probably the closest a woman has got for a while. lol

That image, dear, is taken from a live pose from Freddie. One he did on many live occasions. I've seen the statue in Montreux and I can tell you the face and pose is Freddie.
Ok, I have to admit that I have not actually seen the real version of the statue. But the one that they had in the "We Will Rock You" musical was just plain ugly. Its face looked like some scary white guy.
