Approx 5 to 7 years ago in the UK brian was on a cover-mounted cd for a guitar mag (no suprise there). But what was a suprise was that not only did he do a talk-through whilst showing some techniques of his on the guitar (dive bombs - "there we go....Great-fun!). He then also did an amazing over the top multi-layered track on the cd that was his version of a traditional Christmas Carol - I think it was "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" but I could well be wrong. Anyway, as usual it was completely brill, and he even introduced it in a cheeky way by saying something like "while I'm here sunning myself on some tropical beach here's one for all you in the cold grip of winter (He! He!).
Well this is all part of my shady memories of this CD anyway (and you know how time distorts things). So I've asked the guitarist that played it to me to try and find it but it's likely that he will not - so anybody out there????
Hey look, sorry to put this back up on the posted list, but just wanna give it one more try to see if anybody out there knows as this was a fantastic track by Mr.May. So apologies for trying again, but may as well before it gets lost in the mists of "forum" time. Thanks again.
I always get my hopes up too much! Thanks Bohardy at least someone has an idea of it. It was very good, and I kinda thought more people would know of it on this site?
