Hello everyone,
Last month I spent 11 days in UK.
4 days in London. 1 night in Morecambe. 1 day in Glasgow. 4 days in Fort Augustus near Loch Ness and the last day in London.
It was one of my best trip of my life. The weather was nice, people too. English and scotish are really gentlemen.
I went in Barnes to the fan club; i saw the musical at the dominiun; it was fabulus. I saw Eilian Donan castle where 'Highlander' was shot (in part); several other castle; Scotland is really nice; there are some beautiful landscape.
Now i'm back in France; i think i'll go back in UK someday.
Bye . Seb
Yeah Glascow, we arrived in the afternoon; we let the car in a car park, and then we looked after an hotel; in a guide i saw there was a good cheap hotel in a street. But in was in the number 900 of the street... it was a very big street, we were tired; so i saw a *** hotel; we booked a room but when we arrived in the room it was horrible; dirty , the tv didn't work, and there was no towel. The guy went everywhere in the hotel and he found only one. then we went for a walk in the centre. we ate, we drank, and at 11pm we wanted to go to the car to take some clothes for the next morning but the car park was closed and it was impossible to go to the car...
But the city was nice and it is a good souvenir.
Abbey road no; my friend didn't want. But Garden Lodge of course yes; it was very great for me to be there; in front Freddie's house ... wow. But i was little disapointed because we cannot see very well the house.
In london i understood what the people said but in Scotland it was very difficult; we had to make the people repeat several times in order to understand the meaning.
But i think it's the same thing for the foreigner who come in the south of France.
I always have to listen carefully when I listen to my Uncle talk. He stays up near Peterhead in Scotland. He has a very strong accent and uses lots of local dialect.
People say I am loosing my accent but I refuse to believe that.
Now, speaking of Loch Ness I read recently that a TV show in the UK pulled off a really funny prank on people looking for Nessie when they built this giant animatronic creature to resemble the Loch Ness monster.
