God, this video has gotten me teary eyed, and I don't think I've ever been anything close to crying or being deeply touched by a music video. Evan Rachel Wood is such a great actress, and she's pretty hot too. Has anyone seen it? |
Krizzy 15.08.2005 09:28 |
Yes, fantastic video! Green Day is quite possibly the only band speaking directly to their generation about the state of the world today. I'm seeing them soon at Gillette Stadium and I cannot wait! GREAT BAND! Kriz ;o* |

I'm seeing them at Giants Stadium on Septmeber 1st. I got 'General Admission' so I hope I don't get thrown into the mosh pit. |

As weird as it might sound, yes. |

I THOUGHT the girl in the video looked familiar! |

She was great on 'Thirteen', and on the video she really showed that she could win an Oscar one day. Why does the media focuses so much on a shit actress like Linday Lohan is beyond me. Probably the fake tits. |

The intro of the video is cheesy sadly and GD has gotten cheesy lately in their videos. Music is still great though. And that girl isn't even 18 yet... Far too young for that dirty man (very un-attractive), I'd of had someone older play her. By the way (a looooong time ago) I watched MTV quite a bit, wasn't it green day who had a video of them on a couch or something and being dragged around in a dump? If so what song was it? or if not, can anyone tell me what band? |

the song and the video make me cry. |

Sorry to say his, but Green Day sucks big time. |

He said it has to do with his fathers death. |

it's cool |

Both the song and the video are stunning. The song has also been ''adopted'' as the anthem for the hurricane relief in the USA, as they have been playing the song, whose title is prophetically fitting, during news and coincerts for relief. I think the song and video are the best thing Green Day has ever done. Just sublime in meaning and beautiful yet poignant and elegiac. |

P.S. The interview with the band on Yahoo is great and very informative about their viewpoint about Bush, the current administration, whether music and politics should co exist/whether rock artists should get involved in politics... Great interview. |
Gunpowder Gelatine 10.09.2005 17:46 |
I really like Evan Rachel Wood. Everything interview I've read of hers comes across as so well spoken, and I agree, I have no clue what the obession with people like Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff or Ashlee Simpson is. And back on topic, great video, too. I would love to see Green Day! |

Great interview."Go and make your boring album without politics" :-P Queen NEVER discussed politics!! :-) But Billy Joe said he was joking!! And said they used to never discuss it as well. |

By the way, 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' is probably the best song Green Day did. Sadly it only reached #21 on the billboard :( Did you know Billy Joe publically admitted he is bisexual in The Advocate in '95? |

Think of all the dispossable bubblugum pop songs that have reached #1, but they're soon forgotten once people get tired of requesting them on the radio. |

'Hollaback Girl' is the perhaps the best example of what's a catchy shit song that you hear endlessly on Top 40 radio, but has absolutely no essence whatsoever. Once it's gone from the airwaves it will be thrown on the trash can like a piece of toilet paper. |

FYI, Bi or not, he has one DAMN lucky wife, Adrianne, who he has been married to for years, they appear together at Fashion shows for the stars...and if you look at page 40 of the new Rolling Stoen Magazine (with the Rolling Stones On the cover), that covers the MTV Video Music Awards...Billie is planting a very sexy liplock on Adrianne. Also, the FULL page photo of Billie the page before the Table Of Contents, where he is dressed all in black with his arm raised holding his guitar.........DAMN he is HOT!!!!!!!!!!! |
