well, this IS general discussion. Who else thinks it was quite funny that Freddie answered a brazillian Interviwer's question about being the Leader of the band by saying "I'm not the general or anything."
Is it me, or was that not the most sensitive thing to say in South America in the 1980s? Oh well, damned funny nonetheless!

I liked the Rock in Rio interview when the guy said something like.."FRED Mercury...tell us, Fred, how do you feel singing in front of 200,000 people.." And Freddie said.."Haven't done it yet.." Cute!

Classic! but wasn't that Sao Paulo 81? I loved the other bit of the Globo interview too, very funny. Infact, that whole interview is fantastic. I think it's cos Freddie was out of his tree!
