I think they should release the best shows they have in full on dvd.First they should bring out Hammersmith odeon'79(kampuchea),then hammy'75 and budapest(which is better than wembley in my opinion) and maybe also live at the rainbow.i really like the led zeppelin-type dvd. There's lots of stuff they can use for such a release.Certainly the shows which have been filmed only partially. For example a South american dvd from 1981 would be great:-)
won't happen anytime soon....
a) due to the Q & PR DVD
b) also shows pre WWRY & WATC would not sell to the casual fan, not enough well known songs
c) why would they release DVD's from 1986, 1982 and then jump back to 1986? more than likely they'd go back to 1978/79...
I never said they will jump back to 1986 now but after 2 seventiesconcerts they probably will since budapest is scuh a great show and it is recorded the best way possible.i know also that we will have the queen + pr-stuff first but there will be more QUEEN-stuff after that I hope
I think Houston 1977 will be released. Freddie's voice and piano came out great and regardless of Brian's blown string on Liar, that will be overlooked(they overlooked his two blown strings on Queen On Fire Live At the Bowl where Deaky did a little bass solo on Dragon Attack so Brian could switch to his Red Special duplicate!)
Well... Greg Brooks wrote in his book (new foreword to QUEEN LIVE) that those won't be released in the foreseeable future... That at some point Hammersmith wa sclose of being released but it didn't happen... So... I dunno... Brian however mentioned in the soapbox that Budapest will make a great DVD... Justin Shirley-Smith in Q&A at queenonline said that they are just wandering what next and that WILL BE more DVDs in the future...
Personally I hope for Hammersmith'79 or something from Jazz Tour... Houston would be awesome but don't think it will happen... Earls Court? Rainbow? I mean- give me anything and I'll be more than happy...
The Zeppelin dvd is great! I think that's best the way to go. They already have several entire concert dvd, so a collection that includes segments of the some of best shows would be great.

As much as I love Zpe's DVD- I want full shows... Only if it's really impossible to release full thing- make the compilation. But don't let DoRos anywhere near that project! Nobody wants Rare Live 2...
