Hi there!
Sorry if I am wrong Arlene but I am sure you are one of the unlucky people who has mentioned that they cannot get hold of the Freddie Mercury box-set. Well, the link below is somewhere you can and boy, is it cheap! One of the best deals I have ever seen!
Anybody who does not own the Freddie Mercury box-set, then please buy it, especially at this price, as it is well worth it! £64.99 is stupidly cheap!
Just in case the link does not work Arlene, or anybody else who is interested, then just go to link, search fro Freddie Mercury on CD Title and there you go :- link
One more thing, apologies if this is something I should know but seeing as the Freddie Mercury box-set is the 'complete' collection, how come the Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson collaborations were not included? And for that matter, is there much more material that they did not include on the box-set?
Another thing missing from Box Set is Freddie's performance from TIME... Greg says they don't ahve the good quality (yet they put awful sounding "Green"), John Stuart says it was copyright reasons... somehow I don't believe Greg...
Complete Ibex concert is missing, complete version of Green is missing, home recordings by Freddie, Peter and Mike are missing, Excercises in Free Love by Montsy is missing, new video of LOMO is missing...
But anyway - it's great and worth to buy.
So when are we actually going to get a Queen box-set then? I guess the complete collection (if that was possible) would cost a hell of a lot of money but what a set it would be!
Cheers mate! I would just love to be in control for a moment in time to produce a "COMPLETE" box-set of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Brian May and Roger Taylor for that matter to, including all Smile, Wreckage, Sour Milk Sea, Larry Lurex etc... And for what it is worth, shove a bit of Deacy in there as well!
Forget all the copyright, business and loyalty rubbish, just produce the ultimate set for the fans... then I wake up from my dream! (Sighs) :-(
