Here's my remix of Headlong.
I used the original album version and the instrumental 'The eYe' version.
I know there are some volume differences and other things that are pretty obvious, but I got an error in the program, so I couldn't change those things anymore.
Hope you like it. link
First of all:I like the remix, because you had many ideas, did a lot of work and- it´s the first Headlong-remix I´d ever heard (except the terrible Floss Mix).
Many sound effects and breaks, perhaps too many.
I guess an edit instead of an extended version would have been the better way, because it´s too many ideas an too many sound effects put into this version, it´s a little bit confuse...
But although it´s a nice piece of work, I´ll put it on my Queenzone-Remixes-CD, beside all the Fickle Mixes. That´s a praise for you!!!!
If you can handle your program again ,do it again in a perfet quality, please! It´s worth it!
Thanks for the compliment!

Thank U!! ;)
Ok, I think I'll try to make a better, shorter version, without any effects.
After that, Is there an other song that you like to hear in a remix?
no no no , do some effects, but not mixing and mixing and mixing every little part of the song. It should be a "new" piece of music, but not remixed that, in the end, you nearly have no straight line in it... you did it good, but you did too much, do you understand?
Go on and try, you have all the time in the world. We´re only amateurs and doing our best...
I´m waiting for a (4-Minute) remix of Scandal, a short remix/edit of the extended and the singel version....Fickle poorly doesn´t like that song :-((
Here's my latest remix, a more clean version, fewer effects.
Again I used the album and the instrumental version.
Maybe you like this one even more ;)
I'll soon start on Scandal link
Hell, those are good!! I'll tell you what I think:-
I would compare the longer, first mix to the 12" mix of Breakthru, in that there's a lot of effects which do work, but some chopping and changing, which doesn't. I particularly like the ending of mix #1. What didn't work for me was the verses, which I would have left complete, without the instrumental bits pasted in, which make it sound a bit fragmented. It's a shame that the eYe version has a different drum sound to the normal version, but maybe a bit of volume and EQ tweaking might make both versions sound more compatible. I had the same trouble with my mix of Breakthru, but managed to get it acceptable in the end. All in all, I like it, and what I would suggest is a 'half way' edit between both mixes. Mix #2 is fine as well, but it doesn't really sound all that much different to the original, apart from one obvious instrumental section addition. I think a hybrid of both versions, with the ending from mix #1 would be brilliant!
The first version, as mentioned by others, suffered from too many ideas that sounded very chop and change. But, I also liked the ending of the first mix. Very cool ending.
Liked the second version as that definitely felt more like a mix. The first just sounded like a demonstration of what can be done, but not necesarily the best way to go about presenting them. However, the only thing I didn't like was the ending of the second one. Shame it just dribbles off at the end! Definitely add the first mix's ending to the second version.
Peace,
Adam.
P.S. This is NOT the first Headlong mix. There is one called Queen_-_Headlong__Frog_s_Extreme_Edit on this very forum.
Yes, if you feel like laying your hands one more time at this song, please change the ending part like Adam said. I think then it will be the best version!
You´re right, Adam, but I totally forgot that remix of Headlong. I think, you´re knowing why...
