Having become interested in Montserrat Caballe via Freddie, I bought a new, two-disc CD called The Best of Montserrat Caballe. The plastic outerwrap had two stickers on it: Made In Holland and EMI. When I opened it at home, the music contents were not Caballe, but two CDs called Beethoven For Piano. I returned it to the store, and there was another CD of the same name for exchange. This time I opened it in the store, and once again it was packaged incorrectly with the Beethoven discs. The proprietor said he had never seen this happen before. I went away with cash in hand but no Montserrat. Darn! I guess it is wise to open CDs before you leave a store.
