Anyone want to be Freddie Mercury ll in my band?

Hello, Wanted at last a good singer here on Queen Zone who will be be able to join me (brian May) my Brother (Roger Taylor) and Be our singer as Freddie's replacement, (this is not a spoof like fancy dress) this is real we call ourselves Queen II (a tribute band) we don't dress up as Queen btw To Be the next Freddie in my band you must be: . Live in the UK . A very talented powerful singer . Have a lot of Guts . Be confident . A huge Fan of Freddie and Queen |

You have got to be kidding me. What happens when you're in the middle of Hammer to Fall and you have to post on Queenzone on how to get that 'hammer-to-fall' sound? Is this "Queen II" idea of yours going to include a Freddie that asks what kind of champagne glass to use? |

I actually have a mate who may be interested. He asks if you could supply a backing tape of the two of you performing so he can assess whether his level meets yours & vice versa. mp3 will be fine. |

Johnny-I would tell you to change from playing instruments to playing with yourself. But I'm scared you will flood the forum with "What hands to use" and "How to achieve a Brian May orgasm".-All stupid jokes aside. Dude dont be in a cover band because you will be crap. Not that I am making fun your "uber" skills or whatever you have. It is because ALL cover bands are crap. Good musicians, Good notes, Crap cover band. Why? Because no one will EVER match the band they cover. Make your own songs find a nearby singer and jam to Queen. But dont try to emulate them. Make your own songs. In regards to money. You probably get 500 bucks a week for a cover band. Why in a real band you could make MILLIONS. So forget that I am going to be the next Queen. No you wont, go out and be sucessful. And t is much easier to play your own songs. As a musician myself, It is much easier to play your own stuff. |
