Could it be that the 30th Anniversary version of ANATO is NOT going to be the hoped for CD Deluxe edition (with bonus tracks) that we were hoping for?
Equally.......
Could it be that we will get a "Legacy Edition" featuring 3CD's:
1 - Original ANATO mixed & mastered to the highest quality
2 - ANATO DVD-A 30th Anniversary Edition
3 - ANATO out-takes, demos & alternate mixes
Personally, If I'd invested int he recent ANATO DVD-A I'd be hacked off that I was being asked to shell out again, however, anything will be worth buying for:
JUST SOMETHING - HOWEVER SMALL - OF RARITY VALUE
I guess we're looking at an October release date for the package, whatever it is.

I can not find what you are refering to. Can you make a new link please - or paraphrase what the feature actually says?
I think this is it: link
I can't see it featuring any outtakes or anything really....? Sounds like its just a reissue of the DVD-A with the newly found multitrack parts mixed in to 5.1 & possibly some kind of documentary.
Read Brian's soapbox....
and at the 11th hour we are now able do a surround sound mix of it for the forthcoming DVD of A Night at the Opera – the 30th anniversary commemorative edition, which will be stunning in its breadth. (Really!)
The word breadth excites me.... should it excite me though?
well at least Brian mentiones an original 16 track tape with a session for GSTQ, which could mean that they actually looked for demo stuff. Or this session is also on the final 16 track multitrack tape and than changes are suddenly dim to see a demo cd accompanying this new dvd
At least this confirms in one way or another for sure that we will see a 30th Anniversary re-release of ANATO, which personally excites me!
I'd definitely buy the DVD(-A?) again if it IS more than a significant improvement on the 2002 release.
