newly-fledged Jedi!
All hell just go on the website. It's great!
But read the magazine too cuz it's even better and has TONS more in depth interviews with the cast, crew, trivia, etc.
But where was Qui-Gon? Why was Liam Neeson taken out of the final film. He was supposed to be in at the end talking to Yoda and Obi-Wan.
Also Lucas didn't answer who Master Sifa-Dias was or how Obi-Wan became known as Ben Kenobi. Ah well.
Qui-Gon was never supposed to be "in" the film, just mentioned - that was all rumour. And he was mentioned, at the end when Yoda instructs Obi-Wan that he wants him to go to Tatooine and commune with Qui-Gon.
And Master Sifo-Dyas was just an ordinary Jedi, who ordered the Clones incase his suspicion of a war was realised, thus not leaving the Jedi wholely unprepared. But it is not known yet why Sifo-Dyas had any suspicions (or was he just being careful) and why or how the Emporer "gained control" of the Clones. Was it through links with Jango Fett? Through Count Dooku (finding things out when he was still an active Jedi)? Or was Sifo-Dyas not just an ordinary Jedi, and was his death a result of the release of information about the Clones!?
Argh! Too much too think about...
And 'Ben' was just a nickname passed round the cantinas and markets of Tatooine, as no one really knew who he was and all assumed he was just a crazy wizard who "lived out beyond the Dune Sea" and although there were suspicions of who this crazy man really was, people just simply calleed him Old Ben Kenobi.
Unfortunately, there's no great story behind the name.
