if you downloaded it from queen zone (nummer 25) is sheer heart attack does anyone listen to the concerts |

The Prophet's Song wasn't played. And SHA was played. At this tour they did a very short version, so it fluently changes into Jailhouse Rock. |

I finally got around to burning the 6 track version to an mp3 CD (along with six other Queen concerts). I have only listened to Liar and LOML and part of 39 so far and it was fine ... so I assume the CD is OK (although 39 is still missing one and a half lines of vocals - I can live with that). Of course Houston is on the hub ... I announced it was on the hub when I announced that Houston would be available on my web pages (although it is buried in the post). I am not sure if the wma version is available on the hub (although it probably is already there). I know the wma is probably better quality (192 vs 128 kbs), but I do not understand the enthusiasm for wma, when wma is mostly limited to computer use only (and lower quality computer speakers). My four year old DVD player plays PAL (hard to find in the USA), VCD, and mp3, but it does not play wma. My new car plays mp3, but does not play wma. So wma is useless to me. I have also been told that wma is completely useless for Apple/McIntosh users I realize that the dutch boys were probably in hurry to save face and finally share what they had been promising for a month (that and Uruguay 83) but never delivered ... until they had to. The wma format was all they could come up with on short notice. I bet that the dutch boys (including the morally challenged and banned ex-Queenzoner Mr X) never really intended to share Houston, but rather wanted to continue to use Houston and Uruguay for tormenting purposes. |

Have your trades dried up, or has the trading community forgiven you for leaking Houston? There are probably no repurcussions for me, because the trading community probably doesn't give two shits about me as I am not a trader, and I normally do not have access to any semi-rarities. |

I don't understand this thing about hoarding rare recordings at all. I've spent a lot of money buying rare boots on eBay, countless of hours, days and even months tracking down stuff and I'm now sharing them with anyone who's interested on Dimeadozen. I'm not the owner of these rare recordings, nor is any other trader... As long as I don't get a personal message from someone in the band or their management, I will share these for free. Of course, you get a weird sense of power hoarding hard-to-find stuff but that doesn't really interest me. Could that be the reason for not sharing? Oh, and thanks! I'm looking forward to the lossless version of the Houston show! :-) |

I've really had it with your sorry excuses against me Rev and Rick. I got the cd the afternoon I uploaded it, it took me 3 hours to make it just about reasonable to upload. It wasn't that I wanted to have a tiny little race with you. I saw you shared it by links, and Rev and I wanted to make it a torrent, so that we could promote our site and put some artwork with it. Could you also please drop the idiotic Uruguay 83 issue, it makes you as childish as we are, and I don't think you want that to happen, do you now. Also... just because you are so annoying, I won't upload a thing no more, NEVER! Who freakin' cares when anyone got it,what format it is in, or who got it up here first. Sheesh! The fact is we can all enjoy it now..something I'm sure a lot of us who are not in trade circles thought would never happen. We should be discussing the concert, thanking those who got it to us and enjoying what was once a very rare item, not bitching about small shit that means nothing and has no constructive end. my 2 cents. MattMatt - what gave you the idea that music was supposed to be enjoyed? fucking daft notion, if you ask me!!! it's all about "i got this, and i ain't sharing" and don't kid yerself otherwise.... this argument WILl be repeated this time next year - the only thing to change will be the gig - IT WILL BE DRAMMEN next time |
