In the Jazz sleeve, it credits a thunderbolt to God - I might be being thick but I was wondering what this meant.
Any ideas? (since this is the source of my username I really should know)
I did check previous posts and there's nothing about it. I understand the joke and everything but I wanted to know where the thunder appears on the album. (but thanks anyway for replying)
Brian told that during the strom he went out of the studios to record "live" the thunder, which is now on the Album JAZZ closing up Dead on Time.
No joke it is a true story.
Yes indeed Brian most definately is credited as having recorded the thunder storm from the vantage point of Mountain Studios in Montreux.
Jazz was the first album that incorporated Mountain Studios into its routine.
Brian has since confirmed on sereval occasions that the storm was recorded and used at the end of Dead on Time.
I just can't remember where I read it now.......

Not a joke- but crediting it to God in this way (courtesy of...) is.
