Well I've seen Star Wars Episode III (|I can't tell you how, or I'll have to kill you). All I can say is that it lives up to its reputation. Visually stunning, shocking, moving and a shit load of sabre action. I'll not spoil it for anyone by detaling plot details but needless to say you will feel sorry for Vader in Episode IV. Now the bad points Natalie Portman is not used enough and the dialogue between her and Anakin is still terrible. Go and see it its your last chance to watch Star Wars at the theatre. |

I hope of course he does make them but I fear these will be used for TV series. |

I'll be seeing it on the opening night at midnight. I have heard good comments about it, so I am kinda eager to see it. |

Made the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly.... Has timeline of Lucas' (with huge interview with Lucas) writing and filming all 6 films to date, details about Hayden Christiansan bulking up so that REALLY is him in the Darth Vader costume...Lucas wants people to know that, since David Prowse was in the costume in the original trilogy. But Hayden is in the costume, and Lucas talks about why it took so long to get the prequels made, etc. And yes there are 3 more stories written...but...we will have to see. |

the last three will NEVER be made, impossible to do so, it would have to involve killing off all characters and introducing whole new ones, it wont fit in! |

With the wonders of modern technology though. If they can make a 80 year old man jump around twirling sabers they can make Carrie look thin. |

Didnt G. Lucas say he was never gonna make the last ones? and said he was going to stop at this one? I think he said that in quite a few interviews, of course I'm quite happy with just 6, as back then I thought 1-2-3 would never be made and was just happy to know he was gonna finally make them. off topic Empire strikes back is still my favorite, and my favorite scene so far is Yoda fighting in attack of the clones...I have never heard such a responce from every one in the movies before. |

I refuse to leave the house the night it comes out for fear of immediately being killed by a flying light saber. Most of my friends, on the other hand, are eagerly counting down the nanoseconds. What can I say? I'm a philistine. |

I'll go and see it but I'm not expecting wonders. Episodes I and II were sith (pun intended). The best part about II was Temuera Morrison and that was only because he used his real accent, which made me happy. And I'll be waiting awhile to see it, it'll get cheaper. |
Victoria 15.05.2005 02:11 |
I'll go see it, but I must say it'll be to finish the story. In my opinion, the computers became too involved in the visual elements in the latest episodes and have created a sureal feel to it. There is no life, integrity or credibility to some computer graphics. Unlike with the first to come out, they lack that geniune feel. The actors and plot have to make up for that, and they usually do. We'll just have to see with this one. Still, a good story. :) |

I found this very interesting article where apparently Lucas has made this film with a sense of comparisson with the current U.S. foreign policy of the Bush administration. link |

ya... i don't know about there being any more star wars movies but there is a chance in all possibility, just maybe 6 months or so ago, a massive star wars book series called the new jedi order just finished; It's about Luke's struggle to keep the new Jedi together, as some are starting to get reckless and believe they are a higher authority than the government. Whilst dealing with delegations, a new alien force called the Yuuzhan Vong invade the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong are a alien race that use animals for everything (everything seriously) and believe that the rest of the galaxy are infidels for using machinery. It's basically just how they fight back. And as i have not read the whole series yet (ive got 5 out of god-knows how many), ill spoil it just a likkle bit for you. By the 5th book, they begin to set up Jacen Solo (leia's and hans son) as the next "one". So if they decided to continue on with the series, they would have to start now, because right now there is only a slight age difference between the characters Luke: mid 40's Mark Hamill: late 40s/early 50s Leia: same Han: early to mid 50s Ford: early 60s lando: same thats pretty much it, returning as many characters from ROTJ are either dead or retired. the new main characters would be: anakin solo: someone who can be brash, much like hayden's anakin skywalker but younger jacen solo: a really good actor, someone who can play someone spiritual has to look like jaina jaina solo: (jacen's twin) very fit, rogueish kind of look mara jade skywalker: (luke's wife) maybe the redhead from desperate housewives? maybe gary oldman as the leader of the yuuzhan vong? |

Saw it last night! I ended up calling my job and telling them that I was going to come late, and they didn't seem to mind. I got home around 3am. Anyways, I think I'm going to watch this movie like 3 or 4 more time while it's in theaters. It has already become my favorite out of all the 6 'Star Wars' movie. I was deeply touched by the nature of the film including the tragic loss of Anakin turned to the Dark Side. |

I saw it early afternoon, yesterday. Very nice. Ooohhh, so dark. The first half-hour really sets things in motion. Great stuff. Man... so sad, this film is. One cringe-worthy moment... For those that have seen the film you'll probably know what I'm getting at here, the - "Nooooooooooooo!", moment. I just thought it was cliche and felt almost jokey! Still, I do like this film. Peace, Adam. |

Other dialogues that could have worked better with this scene: ----------------------------------------------- - Darth Sidious: Lord Vader, I am your father. - Darth Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ----------------------------------------------- - Darth Sidious: Lord Vader, Newlyweds was picked for another season, and Ashlee Simpson is going to release another album. - Darth Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ----------------------------------------------- - Darth Sidious: Lord Vader, I'm sad to inform you that Jar Jar Binks is the father of Padme's offspring. - Darth Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ----------------------------------------------- - Darth Sidious: Lord Vader, we were able to rescue you from the lava, and we have successfully reconstructed every single part of your body... except your penis. - Darth Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! |

"I'm pissed off because through all 6 movies Yoda doesn't win a single lightsaber duel, although he doesn't lose either. Yoda ROCKS!!" - Agreed, but I thought one of the best scenes of the movie was when Yoda was humbled by admitting he failed in winning the saber duel. |
