It seems to me that as the tour progresses we are getting less Paul Rodgers material.
The Birmingham show featured All Right Now, Cant Get Enough... and Wishing Well. Thats all. I think they are probably his 3 most well known songs.
I know we're all Queen fans here, but I happen to like Paul Rodgers voice a lot and I think he should be belting out Feel Like Makin Love and A little Bit Of Love as well as the three they played tonight. Heck he should be playing at least one more as well, his songs suit his voice.
Maybe Seagull was one slow slong too many, but they could rotate it with Say its not true.
If this tour was Paul Rodgers plus Queen instead of the other way round imagine the disgust if the only Queen songs they did were Bo Rap, Crazy Little thing and Champions.
Cause that's the equivalent of what Paul is doing at the moment.
Its in danger of becoming Karaoke Queen rather than a true mix of two Rock legends which is what excited me when I first heard they were doing this.
Just my humble opinion.
I would rape a monk in Rome if Paul Rodgers would sing the 2 songs off Bad Company's "Straight Shooter" album that give me chills.
1) Deal with the preacher.
2) Anna
Both songs are awesome...and Bri + Rog could totall dig into them.
I'm kind of surprised that they never tried putting Shooting Star into the set. I think it's an excellent song and often overlooked in the Bad Company catalogue. Just another honest opinion.

Agree. Shooting Star is one of those songs that give me chills. Great story song. I am all in favour of more Rodgers tunes.
I'll say it again: Rotating setlist.
It would make for a far more interesting show and reward those who put out their cash to see multiple dates.
Once again I still say I would LOVE to hear "Oh Atlanta", "Gone, Gone, Gone", "Rock & Roll Fantasy", "Silver, Blue & Gold", "Shooting Star", "Movin On"..and of these would be GREAT!

If Paul Rodgers+Queen ever come to play in the US, they sure will play them for you... but don´t be disappointed if they don´t find the time to play "Bohemian Rhapsody"... :-)
I think you'll find that Paul has voice problems at the moment, and that these have resulted in some of the songs played earlier in the tour being dropped....he was chickening out of some of the higher notes of All right now in Manchester, so I imagine something like Feel like making love would be very difficult for him. This is also why TSMGO has probably been dropped (very tough to sing), and why wishing well has been brought in - its probably easier for him.....
Feel like making love was great at Brixton - I really love Pauls stuff - Ive definately been introduced to a couple of new bands to listen to thanks to this collaboration.
If his voice sorts itself before the end of the tour I imagine Feel like... and Seagull may return...or perhaps something different?!
