I will try and start this topic again, but with out the are they queen or not subject coming into it. thank you
will the band tour again.
hopefully yes, why shouldn't they.
nearly all the gigs have been sell outs, the fan base is there. they have plenty of songs.
to be honest they would be stupid not too.
even if paul decided not too. brian and roger should go and find some one else
I hope this band will become a reall band with a own catalogue and that they'll do a tour again with this new QPR material, combined with the original Queen and PR songs.
If they disband after this tour, this band will more look like a temporary tribute band.
I really hope they will make some new material, do a new tour, and that these 6 guys will give, about let's say 8 years from now or so, a descent farewell to the Queenfans with a one-off concert.
Please Bri, Paul, Rog, Spike, Danny & Jaime; stay together .. get used to eachother .. become a reall band .. make some new Queen-like material .. and give the Queen-history a descent Last Chapter!

Queen should be laid to rest now. Mind you it would be great if they created a new band with new material and a tour. I would go and see that
Quote from a Queenzone member about Rodgers performance last night:
"As for Paul, well I never judged him before the gig but after watching him tonight I thought he was a waste of space, utter shit, I feel bad for saying that as he's had to fill a big gap but I think Brian and Roger did a much much better job."
Two things for next time don't use the name Queen and get a decent singer. He will probably blame the crowd for smoking causing his crap voice.
Freddie admired this guy ? My arse.
We should tell him to go a ruin his own bands cuz they are no bloody good either.

You wanna play it this way??? Fine! Here are some other quotes (just a few):
"I was very surprised that Globen was almost full, and that the crowd was so different - both younger and older people.
And Paul Rogders was really good. He had a lot of respect for the songs and wasn't trying to be Freddie."
"I've been a Queen-fan since 1976, but since now I am a big fan of Paul Rodgers too. I've seen them perform in Antwerpen, but this was better. The audience went crazy, everybody was singing and enjoying the music. And off course Roger Taylor and Brian May were great. But for me Paul Rodgers is the one that made it happen. Just by standing out there, singing Queen songs, not trying to copy Freddie's act, giving his own bluesy interpretation of the songs we all know so well... Being out there on stage surrounded by all these hugh fans of Queen.. having the courage to do it... I think it was GOOD! I loved it, I'm glad I was there. This is gonna be a very good memory for me. And Paul.. thanks for singing and performing, you've done a great job!!!"
"But, that doesn't mean I had the time of my life. I've been to the Paris gig, but this one was much better. And... deep respect for Paul Rodgers."
"So, why haven't they met Paul Rodgers years ago ??? In my opinion they did it right and the show must go on. I hope that this wasn't the last tour of them. Don't blame me for this ... I loved Freddie for being a musical genius and I still love him for all that he has done to the music worldwide, but this new guy is really amazing, too, and since yesterday Queen is for me still alive."
Hello people I’m back, haven’t posted since the tour started cos I didnt want to find out anything about any of the shows as I wanted it to be a surprise. But I was there last night at Newcastle and the show was amazing enjoyed every second of it and I’m really hoping for some new tunes from the guys in the future and another tour
The only disappointment was they didn’t do Now I’m Here and Another One Bites The Bust but I’ll get over that cos now I’ve seen Queen (ok not the really thing but the next best thing)
And before I go Bryans Permed Poodle are you still crying about this new QUEEN and PAUL ROGERS tour well boohoo to you get lost looser and get a life

That's very true. I feel twice the Queen fan now I have actually seen them live. And it makes you feel so much more enthusiastic about a band when you can see them live, instead of just watching past concerts!! :DD
