I guess we should start thinking about that one as well :)

There's also the Arena Square pub on the main traffic island/junction nearby, the Noose and Gibbet pub on the main road opposite the Arena and a Pizza Hut and MacDonalds on the Meadowhall Retail Park, the Carbrook Hall pub (the most haunted pub in Sheffield) and The Stumble Inn ("no ghosts, just spirits") a bit further back towards the M1. And, of course, the Meadowhall Shopping Complex itself.
That lot should be enough for anyone. If your local Sheffield tour guide can be of any further assistance, let me know ;o)
Hey there,
My husband and I will be coming to see the show all the way from Israel.
I saw Brian in '92 in Tel Aviv (performed as warm up act to G'n'R) and as soon as news of the Queen tour broke out, I knew I just had to get tickets. Couldn't get tickets for Wembley, so Sheffield here we come.
Also, the 9th is our wedding anniversary, so it works out quite nicely.
We'll be arriving in Sheffield on Sunday and will be glad to meet before the show.
Any recommendations as to what touristic things there are in the area?
Thomas (wegotit) confirmed he's coming to Sheffild, he mailed me that if there will be a meeting- he will drink some beer with us... C'mon- we need help about the place to do it! And some more ppl as well! What's wrong with you, Sheffield ;)

Bit late replying now cos I guess you're on your way.
the Arena Square pub sounds good to me but it sounds a bit dodgy being on a traffic island, trying to cross a busy road after a few too many vodkas is asking for trouble!.......ah well who wants to live forever!
