These are DVD .VOB files so you can either burn a DVD or play them directly or convert to mpeg or whatever. It's pretty big, around 4GB. Hope it works. It's the entire show, i.e.: Tie Your Mother Down Can't Get Enough Of Your Love I Want To Break Free Fat Bottomed Girls Say It's Not True (B-Stage, Roger Taylor on lead vocal) Too Much Love Will Kill You (feat. Katie Melua) Hammer To Fall (Slow Version, Brian May on lead vocal intro) A Kind Of Magic Feel Like Making Love Radio Ga Ga (Roger Taylor on lead vocal) Crazy Little Thing Called Love The Show Must Go On All Right Now We Will Rock You We Are The Champions (feat.African Childrens Choir) N.B: These files are blank screen VTS_01_4.VOB VTS_01_5.VOB You MAY wish to skip them. However they MAY be needed if you want to burn it to a blank DVD. I don't know, sorry. |

Anyone making any noticeable progress with it? I'm fairly new to this so I can't really tell if it's working or not...I'm only uploading at about 10kbps at the moment, is that just because I don't have many people connected? |
Elessar 16.04.2005 16:36 |
I'm on to 20kbps now...seems the more people who jump on, the faster upload speed I get. presumably once I've uploaded 4.2GB or whatever it is, everyone will have the whole thing between them so I can leave you lot to it? By my reckoning that will be some time on Monday morning... |

Maybe when it's finally finished someone in the know could convert it to FLAC or mp3 and seed it? Should only be around 500MB as FLAC or 100MB as mp3. The video is well worth the extra wait though. Best we've got so far from this tour, as it's the only bit that's been professionally filmed and televised! |

CM wrote: After downloading this big file, is it possible to convert it to vcd with Nero and burn it to watch it on my dvd player as a vcd instead of a dvd? ThanksYeah you should be able to, I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Perhaps I should have covnerted it to mpeg or something myself, but I thought I might as well let people have the best possible quality. Thanks, by the way, to cliff.howell from QOL (and maybe he posts here as well) for sending me a copy of the DVD, which a friend of his recorded in South Africa. |
CMG 16.04.2005 17:32 |
Thanks for the stuff, yes! Maybe if it is converted to mpg the loss is big...I mean, a vcd can only hold...700 or 800 mbs? and the dvd file is 4gbs! the only problem is a lot of people can not burn dvds and a vcd/mpg option would be great. |

I'm sure an mpeg will surface soon after this one gets distributed properly. And an mp3 version would be nice as well. I would make it, but the only way I know of is recording using sound recorder which means I'd have to leave the computer on for an hour and not be able to use it! |
kyassor 16.04.2005 17:58 |
Nero will convert dvd files to vcd but it doesn't really seem worthwhile. The dvds are much better quality and an internal dvd recorder for a PC is only about £35 now so not exactly a major outlay - plus they are easy to add to the system, even I've manged it and I am no techy. |
kyassor 16.04.2005 18:03 |
PS Tried downloading this but it is very slow at the moment - if someone can send me a copy of the dvd I promise to copy it and send it to at least 10 other memebers of the forum for free (well, free to them financially but hopefully they will pass on the goodwill) |

I wouldn't waste my time with this download solely due to the fact that the bands performance was way below par that night. Only Katie Malua and the childrens quire were worth the watch on streaming media. |

Once a few people have 50% or more of the torrent, the speeds will start to increase I'm sure. I'm leaving my computer on overnight - I won't be surprised if I've uploaded 2+GB by the time I get back to my computer. |

Thanks very much for this, and thanks for NOT posting a crappy low quality VCD. C'mon people, let's keep the high quality stuff coming and not share crap. That includes MP3s. With high speed internet these days, we should not encode audio shows to lossy formats and DVD quality video to VCD or even SVCD. Step up and buy a DVD burner, they are as cheap as CD burners now and just as easy to use. I'll get down off my soap box now. Thanks again to the poster for this. BTW, you may want to just leave those blank VOBs in the folder before you burn it to DVD, or else it may not play properly. |

I've been messing around for hours tyring to get rid of the yellow smiley from Azureus but it's having none of it. I've enabled 6881 in about 5 different places but the yellow remains. I'm uploading between 20-30kbps so that's not too bad - although I'm sure Broadband is supposed to be able to do 10 times that! I've uploaded 2GB so we should be nearly halfway there, with about 15 hours gone since we kicked off. |
Elessar 17.04.2005 10:42 |
I'd have to make a new torrent file for that, with a different announce URL, and it doesn't seem to want to let me do that because all the files are in use. In other news, I've got rid of the yellow smiley, but it's still only pulling around 20kbps. Surely Broadband is supposed to be much faster than this? |
Richard Orchard 17.04.2005 11:27 |
upload speeds are usually a lot less than your capable download speeds. so, unfortunately, 20kb up is probably about right. |

I'd be more than willing to convert this to .avi, .mpg, flac audio, .mp3, .shn or anything else that may seem desirable. That i, of course, providing the download ever finishes. btw... has it been ABSOLUTELY confirmed that that the last 2 .vob files are "blank"? We all seem to be stuck at 43.7% at 4:31am (EST), I guess you went to sleep Elessar. Figured I'd keep you updated. Thank you so so much for even uploading this! I have uploaded torrents to webpages in the past, and I know how annoying it can be waiting for people to get the whole file, especially something this large. I will keep seeding however, hopefully this will help take some of the stress off your upload speed, since I seem to be uploading at a pretty decent speed myself. To answer your question, yes, when your progress reaches 100% or your ratio is 1.000 that would mean that the file has been sent completly to someone. Hope that helps. |
KillerWhiteQueen 18.04.2005 04:48 |
4:43am (EST): The download is moving again, and the person with the IP address ending in 168.106 seems to have 100% of the files. Not sure if that's you. I've downloaded 2MB in about 5 minutes, so the speed is pretty decent. I am currently at 43.8% and says it has about 34 hours left, I'm sure the people people who stay connected and seed the faster it will get. Right now someone who is at 42.3% is downloading at almost 70 kbps, so I rest my case :-) |

It is the full concert though. It's taken straight from South African TV, so there is a commercial break halfway through the set (maybe someone will get rid of it and covnert it to mpeg or whatever - I wanted to just leave it as it was so people can do what they like) and the set opens with TYMD immediately after a break, i.e. no introduction from Will Smith. But other than that it's the whole damned thing. |

After this will be more than 1 (ie. 100 %), then the whole file is distributed among peers. If you stop seeding after this, all should be OK. If you stop before, we must wait to your returning :-)) BTW, share ratio number says nothing here (if you are original seeder of file). And many thanks for your effort. Great! |

PG: "...let's see how many stick around after 100%" I completely agree with Mr.Guru. The way I see it - when completed - I will have a new DVD FREE. The least I can do is share this wealth in return. It is called common decency or honour. Behind me in the queue are about 100 guys ranging from 1.1 - 90%. To cut off these seeds in favour of snail-mail delivery, is not acceptable in all cases. For example: for some guy in Brazil to receive such a disc - to burn, post and deliver can take up to 10 days - so where is the advantage - except a justification for cutting off one's seeding? It ceratinly does not favour the guys still in the queue. I too will switch off my PC in the morning so that it can be "refreshed", but it is no problem to re-switch the torrent on again - so that means it will be off-line for all of what - 10 minutes? Frankly, I think the file is too large for me to keep on my hard drive for a permanent period, but certainly, I could see no problems in keeping it there for a week or two, which should provide comfort to those who are still downloading as I write. |

DVD was recoded from bad master videotape. There ara even washed borders. Quality isn´t. it has only 25% of DVD quality. I uderstand that´s it´s free, but I prefer to pay for a good quality. |

The borders are visable on playback on a PC, but won't be visable on most TV sets as most of them overscan (i.e. they cut off the edges). I have only watched part of the first VOB file as that is all that has completed so far. Definitely worth the download and thank you very much Elassar for posting this. |
inu-liger 20.04.2005 20:32 |
Is it just my PC (or Media Player Classic) that's doing this, or does anyone else have syncronization issues with the VOB file(s) - meaning that the sound and video don't match up? ED: Nevermind. I played it in PowerDVD, and it worked fine. Ignore this post. |
inu-liger 20.04.2005 20:42 |
OK, I can confirm that this DVD is encoded in PAL, as the seeder suggested. If I offered to make an NTSC master, would there be anyone with a reliable DVD burner who can make copies of my NTSC transfer for those who cannot play PAL DVD's on their stand-alone DVD players? I would do this myself, but due to the possible demand for such discs combined with media and postage costs, I cannot afford to do this for free. I can only afford up to 3 NTSC DVD's being made and sent out to people who can make multiple copies for others, unless people are willing to pay me strictly for media and postage costs (from Canada). |

He posted it to me & I copied it to DVD using just basic domestic equipment. It plays bloody well on my DVD/surround sound system (play it on simulated surround Pro Logic II). I then sent copies to various grateful people, one of which was of course Elessar who has very kindly made it available on here. Quit moaning!!!! |

All but the last two files were complete by this morning. Many thanks to cliffhowell and Elessar for making this available. Cheers guys :-) So, what's the final verdict on the last two files? Does anyone know for sure if I need to finish off d/l them to burn on DVD? |
Libor2 21.04.2005 04:47 |
For Cliffhowell and Elessar: Thank you both for your effort, the quality is fine. Some people, of course, will never be satisfied. For IgorC: you can have your opinion about anything, but sometimes it'd be better to keep it for yourself and shut up. Because what you wrote isn't true really and you confuse a lot of people. And obviously, you should wait for proper DVD release of this, then you can pay for it (and be satisfied). For Darren: last two files is really for nothing (I didn't download it). It plays fine, but if you wanna burn DVD from it, it's better to prepare it from this anew (I did it, cut start ads and cut end - it's now 1 hour and 18 min. long). |

I finished this download this morning, and had a very short look at it. Looks great! Thanks for this DVD! And I'm still seeding it of course... Just one thing. People over here are complaining way too much about how slow it's going and all. Please shut the f*ck up. As mentioned by PG and JSS, it's a 4 GB file. If there's only 1 seeder, then of course it takes a while before we have it complete. So be patient instead of being a greedy bastard. Once it's spreaded and more people have it complete, the speed goes up. That's the way bittorrent works. If you don't like it, go back to your Kazaa.... |
Daz85 21.04.2005 08:26 |
Hmm, I've tried making my own menus etc with TMPGEnc DVD Author, but it's not recognising that a DVD is there?! I'm downloading the final two files anyway now to see if that makes a difference. |

Don't look for the DVD to add in TMPGENC, use add file and add the first 3 vob's ! PS Nero Vision recodes your video meaning less quality as endresult, TMPGENC doesn't, so i only use Nero for xvid/divx , for original vob's I use TMPGENC! |

This evenening I have watched this concert in full and the quality of sound and vision is satisfying. Just showing 4 tracks on the internet sure didn't do justice to the whole performance. When they had shown the concert in full perhaps some opinions about the show could have been different. No, regarding the fact this was their first public performance from this tour, the show was okay to me. Thanks for those who made this available here! |

Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira: "...I ask you guys not to leave the torrent once you finish. Unfortunatelly it looks like I've seen the number of sources going down today". No problems. I will seed this for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. No one need miss out because of download time. Due to the age of my PC I have a very small hard-drive (NO that is NOT a euphamism!) but the next couple of weeks should be all right. After that, I may need to review the situation if space does become a worry - but hopefully a few other seeders may be completed by then too, and I will give something like 24 hrs notice anyway. My PC is ON 24/7 - but if it crashes - or I need to refresh - I will be off-line for about 10 mins - so again no one will suffer. Having said all that, I totally agree with PG. |
John S Stuart 21.04.2005 17:47 |
HELP... I have restarted my PC. The torrent is still on my desk top. It has not been removed. It reads done, share ratio 96%. It is neither uploading or downloading. It just sits there. How do I get it to upload to you guys? There seems to be nothing in settings. |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 21.04.2005 17:52 |

That's it fixed. I had overspent my "share ratio". (It was set to automatically stop after I uploaded 96%). I have now increased that to 500%. This now means that (depanding on speed of uploads) I will be seeding for about the next 13 days. So there is now at least ONE guaranteed 100% seed. |

I don't think this torrents should have problem just now, no need to panic. There are 13 seeds (me include 14) and 46 peers with almost 18 distributed copies. It means that even without any seeder these peers could all download it till the end. On the other side, me noticed too, that some people after download immediately end torrent. As I said in another thread, share ratio would be good remedy for such leechers. |

You will notice that a lot of people are either new to downloading torrents or new to downloading a dvd torrent. I suspect that most of them don't realise that you can view the dvd files and reauthor/burn the dvd without stopping seeding. Without tracker stats I have no idea if the extra seeds are newly completed downloads or those that have viewed/burnt the dvd and have resumed seeding. The other thing to consider is that I 'finished' my download nearly 24 hours ago, but won't be shown as a seeder as I have elected not to download the last 2 blank vob files. I don't know if all bit torrent clients treat this in the same way (I am using Azureus). However I will be 'seeding' this for at least a few more days. |

Well, a week later I started to download this, I'm at 45%. I have started and finished downloading many Queenzone torrents meanwhile. At first I had stopped all of the other torrents, so that this would be faster, but it just won't! It is always around less than 1kbps and 8kpbs. It never reached the peaks of 30 or even 60Kbps I get with all of the other torrents, and I wonder why. This torrent is at the same time the bigger and the slower I was ever involved in. Darren... no problems with audio. Like you it initially refused to accept the dvd files... I'm no expert so i tried it the long way.... copied the dvd onto the hard drive of my DVD recorder (Panny E-95) edited out the adverts, trimmed the beginning and end - copied it onto DVD Ram and then imported into TMPG. Agneepath!: I initially had trouble with the files, but I d/l both of the two 'static' files to complete the folder, and then it decided to work! Now I get an error when outputting the finished DVD from TMPG that the audio bitrate is too much. I can still export it, but was concered it may effect burning and playback on a DVD player. We'll see. |

I've edited out the ads and the black bits at the end, and it's now 2.66 GB. I did a main menu, but it doesn't come up on the DVD. Not sure why yet. Chapter points are in perfectly though. THen I got the same error message as Darren, although the result still works on my DVD player. As I understand it, it's less LIKELY to work, but still should. Waht isn't clear is how to make it more stable by changing the bit rates. |

Daz85 24.04.2005 10:32 |
lol! Yes! I've had the same 'widescreen' issues on computer, but have just finished watching the burnt DVD+R on a stand alone player and was fine! Also, after people watch the whole performance they will realise a lot of those critisisms based on the webcast were VERY unfounded! There are some great great moments on this. |
Phoenix501 24.04.2005 12:47 |
Yeah there is defintely some kind of crossover between this dvd version and the mp3 only version available in another post. Is there anyway this can be fixed, if not, is it being made available by anyone in the hub? Stunning to see the amount being offered recently, huge thanks to everyone involved! |

a videofile on a DVD has a byte that tells the dvd-player which aspect ratio to use while sending the videosignal to your TV. In this case my widescreen TV automatically stretches the video to widescreen. But then you get wide faces and fat people :-) So I manually set my TV to 4:3 again after starting the concert. If you have an "old" 4:3 TV, than your dvd-player will use 4:3 and not 16:9 I already re-authored the footage, edited out the commercials and black screen, added a photo-gallery with background music (like on the Queen on Fire DVD) with 157 pics. And converted the Prague video to mpeg2 and added that too. Also made nice menu's with background music :-) |

And did you lose much quality (since you converted it again)? Could you post the photos you used? |

Does anyone that has this on DVD, be willing to trade for it. I'm new to Queenzone but not to trading. Please e-mail me at : wwotr@mchsi.com if you can help out. Respectfully, Roger |

I'm finally at 50%. Let's hope the seeds stay there for a while :) I still don't understand why the download speed for this torrent is much slower than any other. :/ Cheers, Ogre- |

I still cannot even d/l a single part Had it up for a week so far, other then that I have uploaded over 41.7 GB and d/l only 3.1 GB of stuff yet this remains at 0.0% |

Hi Folks, Have completed the download but I am having trouble writing it to DVD-R. Am using Nero and it allows me to add the first two VOB files but not the third with WWRY, Alight Now etc. Any ideas? A |

You could always try a different burning program... e,g. DVD Shrink. |

Is there no way for new users to jump on this torrent? As several people have said, for several days now the attachment at the beginning of this thread points to the mp3 torrent with the same name :( |

Is there any chance that one of you wonderful lovely people could do me a favour? As I mentioned earlier, My internet connection is limited to 2GB per month transfer (d/l + u/l) While this is fine for normal use and the odd bit of downloading here or there, it means that this kind of torrent is impossible to download. Would it be at all possible for someone to post me a copy of the DVD when it is done. I can trade if trade is desired, just let me know. If anyone can help, please get in touch at petenem@yomomma.freeserve.co.uk Thanks very much guys! Pete |

As promised back on page 1 of this thread - if someone sent me a copy of the dvd I'll send it on to 10 others. Agneepath! responded almost immediately (thank you very much) and I have now received a copy of the dvd so if there are people out there that are still after a copy then let me know and I'll send out as many as I can. It will probably be next weekend before I get around to copying them but I'll send them out as soon as they are done. Please send an e-mail to kyassor@aol.com and I'll add you to ther list - already have a couple of requests in who contacted me when I first raised this and I haven't forgotten about them Note : UK addresses will most likely be sent first as I know the postage rate - for other countries I'll have to visit the post office to get the right postage which will delay things slightly. |

popy wrote: ok...in a later post i've asked if anyone is converting this to divx...I've converted it to Xvid, but it's 730 MB anyway. The only one thing I can do with it, is torrenting it. The question is: will it be worth for anybody? And, of course, it's lower quality than original and I always ask, if it's right to do that. And then we have here a lot of the same gigs, one in DVD, second in Xvid, then some audio in mp3 etc. etc. Hmm, let me know. |

Sorry Guys. Just an advance warning that - due to a lack of hard-drive space - from tomorrow (Saturday 6 May 2005) I will have to cease the uploading of this DVD version. So that's about three weeks I have been sharing the complete version. I hope that I am not the only complete seed. I don't mind hosting other files for longer - but because I have a small hard-drive (and that is not a sexual euphamism!) this file is too large for me to keep much longer. |

Hi all!!! Well, I have progressed greatly the last few days and I'm at 85% now! Down't stop seeding, please?! At this very moment interseeding is best source for my download. I promise to keep this one up for several weeks, as I know how difficult it has been for me! I'm on it from the very first day and can't finish it, even though I have a very good connection! This is the most difficult of the difficult downloads in Queenzone. If people help me I'll help many others. Thanks! Cheers, Ogre- |

after more than 48 hours straight online, I've got more 6%, meaning I have 91% of it now. Not bad, after a month downloading it with broadband... :/ |

HELP! Nobody is seeding now! I've been on this download from the very first minute, and now I've reached 94,57% :^O It's been 33 days, if I'm correct :( The last few days some progress was being achieved, but on the last two days, I've progressed only 0,02%!!! What can I say? HELP!!! Cheers, Ogre- |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 21.05.2005 19:58 |
Ok, there is only ONE complete seed for this DVD online now, and 9 incomplete ones. HELP us? Cheers, Ogre- |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 22.05.2005 22:16 |
YEEESSS!!! There is a way to fix this download without finishing it!!! I was at 94% and no progress was at sight, so I was desperate! That was when I finally found this piece of software: link I knew this software via this website, on the "Using third-party tools" part: link Maybe it won't work for everybody, but it worked for me as a desperate measure, and it may work to many of you in an advanced percentage of the download! :D I'll keep seeding it, so if any of you reach a nice percentage of the show, try the software above! It worked for me! :D I'm sorry life is really in a rush for me right now, so unfortuntelly I won't be able to provide any further help to the people that decide to use that software AT THEIR OWN RISK. Well, I could do it from scratch, so you should also be, now even easier, after I've researched and found the appropriate software. Sorry about that. Really. By the way, it IS worth it. I cried twice, during "say it's not true" and "the show must go on". :) Good luck, and keep on rocking! :D Cheers, Ogre- |

The torrent file on page 1 points to a MP3 recording of this show. Queenconcerts.com points to this topic and notes that here is a torrent. To make this true, I'm going to share this concert as torrent. Vob 04 and 05 are removed because this are empty blue screen files. The original shared recording is not in my own collection and can't be found in the queenhub Greetings Bokkepoot |
