That is a quote from the QOL shop. It says that you have to purchase the live tracks from the tour! That is probably on top of the price of the CD-R if you are doing it like that.
Of course it is! There's no need to buy the cdr, other than for the packaging. If you think there's something magic about the cdr, you deserve to lose your money...
Yes, I fully expected the downloads to be charged. And this is what it has always said on queenonline.
The only benefit to paying for the official cdr is that you'll have a QPR logo on the packaging.
I'm still considering getting it, as I'll probably like a copy on my shelf. But for the time being, I'll pay for the downloads I want and just keep them on my PC.
I'm happy to pay for these as well, because they'll be soundboard quality as opposed to audience recordings.

too bad they wont put full concerts up. I would buy those for sure.
