You are really foul Biancalana - do you really think anyone would find your comment funny?
You have no idea who this is guy is, how good a musician he was (yes I do as I am an Aussie and have their albums)and the circumstances surrounding his death was very sad. And you go and cheapen it by posting such pathetic and quite frankly sick drivel. Piss off!
By the way Thomas, he apparently had severe depression illness - no-one realised. Everyone thought so well of him (his neighbours were putting flowers at his front door) and he always seemed to be the joker of the group - yesterday here on TV they were showing interviews of him laughing and joking. The music fraternity are quite shocked as are most Australians. Its very sad.

I know who the dude is, Mrs. Dancer. He has simply joined Michael Hutchence in the picture book of Rock and Roll idiots....
Sorry, I call 'em as I see 'em....
Well mate, if they are "rock & roll" idiots then what the HELL are you??? Posting crap on a rock & roll site thinking that you are oh so amusing when in fact the only person you amuse with your obnoxious rubbish is yourself?
New Zealand in particular is reeling. Crowded House are one of the few NZ bands to amke it big internationally, so this was a hell of a shock to a lot of people.
now I know why I dont post on here anymore! some people have no respect... I am saddened by Paul Hesters death.. he was a top bloke, yes I'm Australian and yes I'm a fan... and no... I wont be coming back here... I am a Queen fan but this website saddens me., I honestly thought the people here would be nice but unfortunately a lot of them are not worth knowing.... sorry to all the genuine Queen fans out there, this is not directed at you.
That is sad. I haven't even heard of them until I read the article and to my mum about. I didn't even know she was a big fan of their either.
Rest in peace. :(

alink was brave. usually people who leave for reasons like that just...leave. debmercury left us with something that we can take to heart and improve on so others wont leave.
I LUV U DEB, PLEASE COME BACK!
I like(d) Crowded House but I was gutted when I found out that one of my fave songs "Recurring Dream" from the OST of my fave film "Tequila Sunrise" neither appeared on the Greatest Hits album of the same name, or the film OST.
Sad though. And given that ambulance staff are quoted as saying he "attempted suicide" I guess that means it wasn't a quick end :(

Lighten up, babe.....
I mean, killing yourself in a fucking park is HARDLY a top-notch way to go out, now is it???
Choking on ones own vomit, ala Bon Scott, now THAT IS MORE LIKE IT.
Mr Biancalana, I happen to be a very easy going person with a pretty good sense of humour. But when I saw your completely and utterly insensitive remarks regarding this thread, I took offence. Have a real good think about what you have posted here. Do you really think its appropriate to make such light humour of a man committing suicide? Or anyone dying for that matter? This man left behind a family. He was so desperate in his depression that he felt taking his life was the only solution. That's incredibly sad. Surely you know of someone who has been effected in this way? How would you feel if a friend or family member was treated with such callousness by someone else? Please Mr Bianclana, there are other things in life to poke humour at, but not this.
Very suprised at this. Saw him on the Max sessions not to long ago and he looked bright and what not. It's always how it goes, innit? The brightest, bubbliest, happy guy is the first one to buy it.

Sorry, but I call 'em as I see 'em. While it is very sad for his family, and I understand perfectly your ire, take it with a grain of salt.
Rockers, simply stated, should not go out that way. Drug OD's, Choking on Vomit, Plane Crashes, Strangling yourself whilst masturbating, that is the way to go out!!!
