I'm absolutely disagreed with the most of your opinions. Time after time you have been saying that nothing is gonna be the same, that Paul never will be Freddie and right thoughts like that and...suddenly, the most of you are stranged about Paul Rodgers job!. So important is a lyric mistake??? Please, be smart.
It seems that is necesary repeat again that Paul is not Mercury!!!! Paul is an excellent singer that last saturday (besides forgotting some lyrics) gave everything and made the heavier TYMD version I have always listened (though I'm the first fan of Mercury manner, of course). Guitar and drums were 100%... I can't wait for Madrid!!!!
As I see, the problem is not the forgotten lyrics, but the fact that Paul IS NOT Freddie at all. Paul is an awesome Rock singer, but it does not fit with Freddie's songs. That is why the set list will be mostly Brian compositions. And it will be GREEEEEAAAATTTTTTT!!!!
Now playing: AC/DC, Back in Black ... :-)

I have got the same view with you Raul!! Queen+PR is a great project, i say!!! And Paul is great singer. Some mistakes? Queen have got some time to fix that mistakes. Thomas

When they announced that Paul Rodgers would be doing this tour I first thing that came into my mind was that it would be a mainly Brian May influenced set as he wrote most of the rockers which suit Paul's voice. So I agree with you 100%. This might be a Brian May solo tour disguised as Queen + Paul Rodgers with a few extras thrown in to include Roger's best known compositions as well as Paul's. Three of the 5 members are/were members of the Brian May band for god's sake.
I would suggest that you check Queen's catalogue for heavier/rockier numbers although I must admit that Break Free was a surprise inclusion if you're of the same opinion. As I've said on another post, Freddie's compositions will be few and far between IMHO.

Then dont come to a public posting board, every one has thier own opinions, if you cant respect that, then don't bother.
Since 1991, (almost) every Queen (or Queen+) project has a lot of Brian stuff (even the Freddie Tribute Concert...). Anyway, in a 2,5 hour show will be a moment for a little bit of this and a little bit of that: Roger wrote true hits in the eighties, don't forget well known John' songs, the rocker side of Freddie and why not his 'more' melodic songs... and of course Brian's guitar... I don't expect a 2,5 hours show full of greatest hits...
