What the hell happened??...
Anyway...does anyone own any of these??
Do they sound great?
Some of Queen's album's, on cd, by MFSL have been selling on ebay for $40 US dollar, or appox. 22pounds.
I just want to know if there is a major difference in sound?
Thanks
For audiphiliacs 'yes' it is worth the investment. But you'll need superior hi-fi set to realy make the difference worthwhile. If you're not an audiophiliac, don't have superior player and amplifiers, and you are not a collector, just stick to the regular remasters. Cheaper and you won't hear the difference ;-)
Compared to the original EMI and Hwood, they're superior.
Help me out, but I think only ANATO, ADATR, and NOTW were remastered by MSFL. I know the backing vocals for 'All Dead' were markedly improved, even on our old, semicheap stereo.
This company shut its doors a few years ago because their major distributor went bankrupt, owing them hundreds of thousands, forcing MFSL to close shop.
I'm not sure if anyone came to their rescue.
Since they cost approximately the same as the 'new' Japanese CD vinyls, ...what the hell, they're not a bad investment.
