In the "Queen rocks" VHS, you can see 3 or 4 seconds of a tired, bearded Freddie, sitting in front of a mixing desk, telling a few words to the DoRo's camera. I think it has been recorded during a band photo shoot, circa May 91, or even later. I wonder if it's not Freddie's last ever videotaped interview and if there is not more of it "in the can". We all know that "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" is the last video ever: Roger and John had been interviewed during the shooting, but Freddie? |

I suspect he cut down his interviews because he didn't have the energy or the time to fart around. Making a video, a filmclip, or even just shooting an interview can be a very long process - and I don't really think he had all the time in the world to give to that kind of caper. Very professionally he still put in a lot of time to this sort of stuff - with his health the way it was he could've just stopped all interviews, filmclips and public appearances a lot earlier, but he didn't. At least not till 1990ish. That interview sounds like it'd be during the Headlong shoot? I don't have whatever interview you're talking about, but in this Queen documentary I have there's bits of 'Headlong' video that aren't in the filmclip, so it's probably the same. |

No, it wasn't during during the Headlong video recording. Freddie doesn't have the wig and has no make-up. I think it was during a photo shooting, because I had a picture of this session (he wears a red shirt). |

Well i mentioned this in another thread but Freddie did a interview just before "These are the days of our lives" when he told the cameras he had told the band he had Aids, but this interivew was and still is banned cos it shows Freddie Startin to cry and you can hear the camera crew in disbelief at what he just told them, i had found this over Limewire abut i accidetnlly deleted this when clearin my computer and now i cant find it(just incase anyone asks about it!) |

He's not lying as I have seen the video as well. It is not however the last interview Freddie gave. I used to have a tape which was recorded at Garden Lodge about a week before Freddie died. It's over two hours long and in it Freddie explains the meaning behind Bohemian Rhapsody, the truth about the cocaine carrying dwarves at the Jazz launch party, the name of the member of the Royal Family who gave him AIDS and the exact location of the secret stash of previously unreleased material including a duet with John Lennon. Unfortunately I taped Casualty over it. The I accidently spilled sulphuric acid over that tape. Oh yes, and then it was hit by a meteorite. fatty. |

If you watch Champions Of The World somewhere in the middle they play Was It All Worth It and there's clips of all these different things throughout the 70s 80s and 90s and a a bit you see Queen all holding up golden Miracle records and Freddie's wearing a white shirt and has a stubble. Sorry to ask only i wondered what was going on and when it was done. He dosn't look terrible but then again it's only a very short clip so you don't see him for long. Thanks. |

i wonder if there is an interview during the Days of our lives video, very unlikely. one of the lastest must be the "talk" during Headlong video, which was about november - dicember 1990. Maybe something was added in the video during January 1991. During I am going slghtly mad in march 91, we can all see Freddie's condition. No interview, just "talk" during the video again. |

As regarding the last interview freddie gave on film was most defintely at his home by the jukebox in champoins of the world i haven't seen anything else regarding a final interview who knows what they recorded later on. In regards to the interview on COTW which comes under "freddie's last interview" it does indeed start with the musical prostituite " i'm the last person you're talking to" what follows MUST have been recorded after as it's not in the aforementioned interview and i personally think it was recorded near the end of his life maybe innuendo sessions or defintely songs started in 91 just listen to his voice his feelings and right at the end of the interview i'm sure you can hear roger say something when freddie says "there you have it on tape use it" suggests that the interview or conversation was with the band in the studio, and the fact he says use it suggests that only the band and his closest friends knew about his condition. |

A little off subject but at the very beggining of Greatest Flix II before AKOM when you see small behind the scene clips somewhere just after you see Freddie bending over in orange you see a very very ill Freddie from behind looking pretty white. I don't want to sound morbid or anything but it's on the tape. Was this taken from Days Of Our Lives video sessions. Also he's sitting in a chair talking to Roger and John. This is during the shoot of 'the days of our lives' Brian wasn't there and put his head on the video a while after the official videoshoot. JohnC wants to see autopsy photos, cremation arrangements, and photos of John Deacon crying at the funeral. In the real world, there should be a happy medium here. I say, if Freddie is knowingly appearing on film, then he himself must have been comforatbe enough to say "Damn, I have this awful disease, but here is how I look now". Freddie wasn't "tricked" into doing the video of "These are the days of our lives", no he doesn't look well, but he looks at peace, and he did the video knowing it was for public release. THis reminds me of the myth that grew in late 2002 when the first part of the lord of the ring played in the movies. At that time, about four or five people told me seriously that they had a 'friend' who has the second and third film already on VCD, and I will soon get a copy. Even though I knew that part two and three were still at that time in postproduction... THey continued claiming that they have access to it. So, this story is the same as this interview-smegma... Only that this time you are not fooling more than yourself. |
