...except for I'm In Love With My Car from '79 to '81, and backing vocals on virtually every song at every concert, and his stint as drummer/lead singer (kit at front of stage) for The Reaction in the '60s.
Roger is more than capable of singing and drumming on some numbers....he's done it many times. If they play TATDOUL he might play only bongos as in the video. He might even not play drums at all in an acoustic set as in Wembley'86 where he played the tambourine. He's quite versatile as a musician as he also plays guitar and bass but he will concentrate on drumming and singing....that's for sure. I'm no drummer but the beat in Radio Ga Ga doesn't sound too technical. If he's going to sing lead vocals, surely he'll pick songs where he can easily drum and sing very well. He's no mug and will not let himself or the fans down. Remember they're rehearsing for about a month so he'll have it nailed for the tour!! I'm sure of that.
Hmmmm the drum beats quite technical in most of Radio ga ga, im not sayin its impossible to drum and sing that song, its just its quite hard live, or that song anyway. I think he will probs do another song or 2 with easier beats.

I take it you're a drummer then. Most important piece of any band as you dictate the beat and pace of all songs...except the song writer of course who has the original idea.
As I said, I'm no drummer but a keyboard man so you may be right!!
Point is....Roger will sing/play drums on the songs on which he feels the most comfortable which probably means easier beats. Of all Roger's songs, which do you feel has the easiest beat? I'm curious because songs with the easiest beat may be songs which may never be played so he might opt for better known songs with a more technical beat. I'd really like your opinion as I'm a frustrated musician myself who gave up the West Wales music scene 17 years ago.
