yes, tell me what is the best song or demo version unreleased. For me is STATE OF SHOCK WITH MICHAEL JACKSON,SILVER SALMON, I' GUESS WE'RE FALLING OUT, THE INVISIBLE MAN (DEMO VERSION), KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE (DEMO VERSION) and the queen's version of POLAR BEAR.
Untill they all would be released - I can hardly tell you... I need to hear them in quality that is more better than mp3's!
But anyway here they are:
Nevermore (BBC)
I Guess We're Falling Out
My Secret Fantasy
The Invisible Man (demo)
Hangman
It has never been released but sometimes played from early days until '76. We can only listen to it in some bootlegs. I always find Freddie's vocal is heavy and fantastic and Roger's voice is wonderful in its chorus of the middle section.
BBC tracks- White Queen, Nevermore, Spread Your Wings, We Will Rock You (slow / fast), Melancholy Blues- all better than album cuts! Same goes for See What A Fool i've Been- BBC version far better than B-side...
Apart from that Hot Space demos sound a bit better han what's on album. Unreleased songs? Silver Salmon kicks ass, the rest... well, usually I can guess why they didn't make the album... Oh, POlar Bear is sweet, but I prefer Smile version...
Sorry to go slightly off-topic, but please can you guys point me in the right direction, I want those BBC versions badly!
Of course I have Sessions 1 and 3 on CD but where can I get the rest? (I know some are uber-rare like that mythical 'The March of the Black Queen' BBC version, but the others are around aren't they?)
Thanks.
