Snow generally comes to Norwich in January. it's fantastic - they tell you it's coming for about a week beforehand and it still grinds the place to a complete halt.

No, fortunatly it has melted.. but I am afraid it will be back SOON...
hasnt' really snowed here yet. I agree with Miss James, I hate snow. I don't hate snow so much as I hate slush. I like rain alright though but then I don't like mud. I better like rain since I want to live in England (actually Scotland) when I am grown.
Whenever I see the snow for the first time each winter, my first thoughts are, "the school pipes will burst and we'll get a couple of days off, Hooray".
Bit daft really since I've been left school some 20 years.

I love the idea of snow. It's wonderful. but then, when it snows, I lothe the snow. Only after the snow has fallen do I remember how cold and numb I get wading thru on my way to work. Not to mention the pain of slipping on the icy sidewalk 4 times every morning.
But...sitting inside watching snow fall and having snowball fights (I'm really still a kid at heart) are worth it.
I still like snow even though the cold wreaks havoc on my joints! But I like it when it SNOWS...like 8 to 10 inches....not some petty dusting. That's when it's fun! I may be going on 38, but I can still make a mean snowball!
Anybody who doesn't like snow is a miserable old cynic. ;-)
Mind you, I suppose that only really counts in countries like this one where you hardly ever get it so it always seems rather unusual and special.
