My friend in school made his own guitar. Yes, it was very shitty one, but I think it could contradict your conviction that Brian is the only one with hand made guitar.
I like Brian anyway, so welcome.
If Brian had not made "Red Special", Queen might not have existed and the world would have lost lots of great music...
I've always respected him so much!

BRIAN IS THE BEST ALL TIMES!
Not all times, dear. He's human too, you know.
I never said Brian or Roger are "bad" - that is what you are making up - they are both talented musicians and as solo artists they would be worth a concert visit (I have been to a Brian May -concert in Vienna in 1998) - but what makes you all NARROW-minded is the fact, that you think Queen can exist without Freddie and John, but if that would have been possible they would have continued in 1992.
and Brian May said in "Good Times" (a german music magazine) in 2001 !!!:" I don't want to go out on a stage again and play as Queen - not without Freddie. But its good when your hear the music in a new context (like the "Queen Symphony")."
Its typical that you only pick out this one sentence .... Its not about right or wrong or any other crap.
Brian and Roger have stated several times (beginning on november 25th 1991) that they can't continue as Queen without Freddie (and that was even back then when John was still working with them). Now 13 years later they do exactly this. They both can have solo careers, found a new band (like "The Cross" in the 80s) or even work together again ... but the end result will never be Queen. These are the facts - and if you need proof then listen to their statements from 1992.
Its certainly a topic to start a serious discussion ... but just reply with "Fuck you" and stuff doesn't help a bit.
AT the beginning it was especially Freddie who made some typical Queen songs; Boh.Rap, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race. But later on I thought that his songs where to much pop-oriented.
Rogers' first couple of numbers, where not really my taste; I'm In Love With My Car etc. But at the last couple of albums, I really love his songs; Heaven for Everyone and my favo Queen track of all time Innuendo was his idea.
Johns music was always pop oriented bu not as much as some late-Freddie tracks. Johns' songs worked live very well.
But Brian made the kind of music that was over all these years vere consequent in its sound; just compair TYMD and IWIA .. the same kind of song. I just love his work! Besides Innuendo and Boh.Rap., the numbers 3 till lets say 10 in my top -pick a number - are all Bri tracks ..
He's my favourite Queen-member, and created together with Freddie this unique Queen sound.
Welcome 'clertoqueen'. Brian is indeed extremely unique and one of the most talented musicians alive today. Without him we would have been deprived of a hell of a lot of good music.
I'm one of the biggest fans of Freddie Mercury.
Indeed, he made Queen and continued putting the pragmatical element into the band for a long time. If Freddie had not been in London at that time, Queen might not have existed. And I respect Brian. I always appreciate his works. He put the rock element into Queen music. Especially their beautiful harmonies between Freddie's piano and Brian's guitar made Queen music very "unique".
And Queen are always Freddie, Brian, Roger, and John. In early days, Freddie led the band. But years and years after, each member was necessary for Queen. That's why Queen were and are only the one and so great...
people grow up, brian may is one of the best guitarist ever, not the best, but one of the best, and as far as comparing who meant the most to queen is silly, they all had their part to play, but to say brian meant more than Freddie shows how much you people know, the first hits were freddie's, the logo, the art, the name of the band were all created by a man named freddie mercury, if it wasn't for freddie (who is considered possibly the greatest front man ever)they wouldn't have lasted more than four albums and by the way, since freddies death, what have the surviving members done, a couple of forgettable solo albums. like i said they all played their part, but freddie (it's now a proven fact) was the greatest, and to be honest, the other boys seem a bit lost without him.
Mike, I'm gonna agree with you at some extent because true without Freddie there wouldn't be Queen...
But at the same time, Freddie wouldn't have been as successful without Queen.
You can't deny that each member had a great influence bringing something to the band, although it seems kinda obvious that the ones who put the most input into making Queen as big as it was were indeed Brian and Freddie.
So let's stop all this silly argument. We both know that Freddie, and Brian were so great that it's hard to decide who was the most talented. But does it matter anyways? It was thanks to the hard work and infinite talent of these two men together as a unit, (without taking away credit from Roger and John of course) that Queen became one of the biggest bands ever.
Seriously, even if John Deacon was the one who died, something great in Queen would be missing.
