I like those "what if" questions although it bothers a couple of people here. Although I do firmly believe that they would not do a loto of old material. They always played a lot of new stuff to promote the album (as it was not possible to tour anymore they produced many videos). They would most possibly not choose Vision as intro. For Miracle they would most probably play the "Party" drums in the beginning. For Innuendo I like the idea of hearing the "Ride the wild Wind" intro. Any other opinions about the intros? PS. And please... I am also aware that from Miracle onwards, the albums would be different if Freddie hadn't been ill. Let's take the material nevertheless. |

Let each of them do one or two of their solo songs: ...Bri's version of TMLWKY and maybe an acoustic WDWTA ...Roger doing The Key and maybe something from Electric Fire or Stand Up for Love (okay - that's the Cross...but who cares) ...Fred - Great Pretender and Living on My Own ...and Deacy - well, we all know about his solo stuff... And to top it all off - DO NOT play WWRY/WATC Bo Rhap/Best Friend/Somebody...I'd rather hear the stuff that you NEVER hear on the radio...(at least not in the US) Fun It You Don't Fool Me Dreamer's Ball MoTBQ Los Palabras de Amor (sp?) Fairy Feller's Masterstroke Slightly Mad Teo Toriatte (sp?) Tenement Funster Flick of the Wrist Melancholy Blues Dancer Basically, anything that hasn't been overplayed That's my 2 cents worth |

I must say , this is my first posting here and i been acctually reading you guys and gals for years , i have been a Queen fan since 11 years old , 1991 , I was one of the ones that latched on when the movie Waynes World was released and I havent looked back since. Since i have discovered this website , this topic to me seems to be the most interesting topic , as i have asked myself this numorus times in my many years of enjoying all of Queens music. I acctually like the idea of having a new concert tour begin with It's a beautiful day, but in my opinion , that song in itself , would most likely be the only song on the made in heaven album if Freddie was living and maybe Mother love as well as A Winters Tale , but I think that album would have a total different look if Freddie would still be living. Either way I would still give you my idea of a set list and here it goes. 1: It's a beautiful day[reprise]|We Will Rock You[fast] 2: Tie Your Mother Down 3: I want it all 4: Stone Cold Crazy 5: Seven Seas of Rhye {instrumental Queen 1 version) 6: Keep Yourself Alive 7: My Fairy King (instrumental) 8: Hitman 9: I cant live with you 10: These Are The Days Of Our Lives 11: Is This the world we created 12: Love of my life 13: Man On The Prowl 14: Crazy Lil thing called love 15: Rock n roll medley , Saturday Nights Alright for fighting, Big Spender , Jailhouse Rock 16: Bohemian Rhapsody 17: Death on two legs 18: Long Away 19: Save me 20: Somebody To Love 21: Good Ol Fashioned Lover Boy 22: My Baby Does Me 23: Need Your Lovin Tonight 24: Bring Back That Leroy Brown (instrumental) 25: Brighton Rock Solo 26: Im in love with my car 27: My Life Has Been Saved 28: Innuendo 29: Dont try so hard 30: We Will Rock You/ Freddie interaction with crowd 31: We Are The Champions/special version with mainly Freddie Vocals singing along with the crowd and then ending with the rest of the band joining in on guitar bass and drums 32: God Save The Queen/no tape track/just brian on guitar ala 2001 Queens party at the palace I hope this didnt make any of you mad .. and i hope you liked my idea. |
OgreBattleField1980 11.11.2004 22:28 |
I forgot one more song i must mention , how silly of me to leave this out , but i would think it would be fitting that after they play We are the champions , that they would belt out The Show Must Go On , then follow it with God Save The Queen. My Appology for that. |
