As a suppliment to my long-running "Ultimate Collection", I am gathering VERIFIABLE information
on unreleased Queen/solo/or collaborative material. This will help me shore-up any gaps in my own knowledge, and will also be of great value to those who are interested in the music (or at least knowing what's out there!).
The idea is to compile THE definitive list, (or at least the most complete, and up to date as humanly possible).
I am NOT listening to rumour or hearsay. Evidence sources must be verifiable, and I want dates, times, places etc. If it can not be demonstrated to be so, it stays out.
Here is an example of PRIMARY evidence: link
16th Official International Queen Convention
Prestatyn 2001
"Greg Brooks played... unreleased... versions of... "Nevermore", "White Queen" (...BBC sessions), The Invisible Man (Roger on vocals), and one... Queen song from 1988 called "Face it". (Actually "Face it Alone" – John S. Stuart 2004).
"ALL 15 BBC tracks will be in the Queen box... Man Made Paradise: there is a Queen version...
Michael Jackson tracks... will eventually appear... VICTORY... they aren't allowed to release... the track has all the queen boys singing backing vocals... a selection of tracks will be released... as instrumentals... MOTHER LOVE, numerous versions with Roger and Brian singing... alternate versions of "These are the Days of Our Lives"... but all slightly diff though..."
"Fast WWRY, no other version than the BBC version exists".
However, Greg Brooks also stated "1st Queen box expected to be released at end of 2002. The format is yet unknown..."
Are there any other solid examples of reliable evidences or of GB on the record?
From the 70s period, I remember Brian mentioning Roger had sung all parts of Sheer Heart Attack (the song) in the demo. There's also a demo of Coming Soon (1979) with Brian doing one of the backing vocal parts instead of Roger. That was the one used in the DTS mix. Although I suspect maybe Brian just recorded that in 2003 to hide the fact they didn't have the tape with that part.
